THE LION, THE WITCH & THE WARDROBE

I've read the book and seen the movie...they're both pretty good. Actually, this is probably the first time ever I enjoyed the movie more than the book. I mean no disrespect, but the book was quite boring. The movie was pretty good though, I liked it.

it's better than the book, just my opinion. loved it,own it,watched it several times and named my kitten Aslan :fadein:

I didn't even read the book and I thought it was a sad representation of a fantasy world. I don't blame C.S Lewis though. I just thought it was ....lame. That's the only word that comes to mind.

The way the whole 'Aslan ws resurrected' thing seemed like a foreign object in one's soup. It completely took away from the movie like it was some sort of after thought, like it was another movie inserted in. It just came off as really lame.

Considering what Jackson did with Lord of the Rings, I thought this movie would be really good. It wasn't. I should have stuck with the books instead.

That's an interesting observation, one I must agree with looking back on the movie. I haven't read the book, or at least haven't heard it since I was a little child. So, I wonder if this Aslan resurrection thing seemed less gratuitous in the book.

Still, it's a great movie.
