The Lord Forgives

The Lord forgives us when we stop sinning.

[17] "Yet your people say, `The way of the Lord is not just'; when it is their own way that is not just.
[18] When the righteous turns from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, he shall die for it.
[19] And when the wicked turns from his wickedness, and does what is lawful and right, he shall live by it.
[20] Yet you say, `The way of the Lord is not just.' O house of Israel, I will judge each of you according to his ways." Ezekiel 33:17-20 RSV

I believe there is symbolism at work here. To “die for it†means to suffer. To “live by it†means to be blessed.

e23,

Everything to us is both a "Son given" (spiritual) and a "child born" (manifestation in the flesh).

These witnesses that you have quoted are both symbolic and practical.

The Jewish formed mind sees them as only practical. i.e. circumcision.

The Greek formed mind sees them as only symbolic. i.e., uncircumcision.

Abraham is the father of both uncircumcision and circumcision.

Rom 4:9-12
9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.

10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.

11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. KJV
