The Lord's Supper

1 Corinthians 11:25: In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.

The power of the Blood of Jesus Christ is seen most vividly through the Lord's Supper or communion. Symbolically, communion is a blood transfusion from the throne of God. Jesus said, For this is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins ( Matt. 26:28), which we are to drink. Why? Because Adam's blood was poisoned with sin. Remember, the life is in the blood ( Lev. 17:11). The fact is that Adam died with blood poisoning so strong that six thousands later the virus of sin thrives in the blood of every carnal man. If the virus is in the blood, the only solution is to have a blood transfusion. When we lift the cup of communion to our lips, we are symbolically taking in the supernatural, life-changing power of Jesus Christ that drives out the power of sin.

Paul wrote: The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? ( 1 Cor. 10:16). When you partake in the communion, you are declaring by faith that you are covered with the blood of Christ. You are safe, untouchable by SDatan, and you have God's power. If you are sick when you partake, there is power to fight those diseases and bring you divine health. I believe that dread diseases are driven out by the unlimited power of Jesus Christ who is Lord and Savior. He was, is, and shall always be a healer. He is the Great Physician.

I cannot stress enough the sacred place of communion: For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body ( 1 Cor. 11:29). To not honor His blood and body is to bring damnation to yourself and can lead to death ( 1 Cor. 11:30).

May God bless, golfjack

Hmm, an interesting way of looking at the Eucharist... I had not thought of it as a "blood transfusion".
