The Lounge Part 3

I now reside in the Lounge.
All my threads start here.
All my posts are almost exclusively in the Lounge.
I'm comfortable here.
Fireplace, food, internet, and a moderator that I like.

The people that visit the Lounge are nice people.
They put up with me.
Some occasionally place a "like" next to my posts.
How sweet.

I find exceptance (this is not really a word) here in the Lounge.
I'm thinking of wallpapering this place.
Maybe some German flowers mixed in with alligators.
Something like that.

Maybe someone will bring in some homemade food.
Who does homemade food here in the Lounge?

Fireplace? In Florida? Oh, that's right, the temps might dip into the seventies tonight, lol.

You must live in Rainbow Springs.

most of the old homes have a fireplace. and many a homes do use wood to burn with here. I do. but not for heat.

I just put my ducks up. Crystal clear sky, feels like 20 something. Now that's fireplace weather.

Over the years when I designed duct systems in Florida, more and more new house plans had fireplaces in them.

People would tell me that they would put the air conditioning somewhere in the 60's and then fire up the logs. Wallah! Instant winter night.

Most people I know with big homes and 15 foot ceilings couldn't afford to run the A/C.

I was talking pre-2008. Before the economy crashed when people borrowed more than two incomes could pay for, thinking they were going to make more money next year to cover it.
