The love that is waiting to be found…
Love is patient, gentle and kind
But why is this love, today, so hard to find
Love is still sought by women and men
But the love they find too quickly ends
Love creates joy, laughter and peace
But so often love today, is not at ease
Love lasts longer than words can describe
But this kind of love touches very few lives
Love is a gift to a man and his bride
But many these days cast this gift to the side
Love is much more than emotional bliss
But many think love comes with a single kiss
Love is not passion in moments of lust
But a bond meant for two to share in trust
Love is not sex, or feelings inside,
But a union of two, until both have died
Love of our age is really not much
But many mistake love for a sensual touch
Love of today is cheap, and a joke
But true love is more than my words have spoke
Love can be more than many dream can
But too many settle for a flash in the pan
True love is waiting for the one who will seek
But will anyone search, or will all simple settle for a love that is weak
