The Lunar Eclipse and What It Means

The Lunar Eclipse and What It Means

The sun and moon are symbols for true Spirit Beings who rule Heaven and earth. If you want to know what Father is showing us, you need to identify

(a) the sun and

(b) the moon and then tell us the meaning of the

(c) shadow of the earth blocking part of the light of the moon.

If you can do that you will understand the lesson of the eclipse of the moon.

(A)The SUN,
1. Psalm 19:1. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5. Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
2. Secrets of Enoch 25:1 I commanded in the very lowest parts, that visible things should come down from invisible, and Adoil came down very great, and I beheld 2 him, and lo! he had a belly of great light. And I said to him: 'Become undone, Adoil, and let 3 the visible come out of thee.' And he came undone, and a great light came out. And I was in the midst of the great light, and as there is born light from light, there came forth a great age, and showed all creation, which I had thought to 4 create. And I saw that it was good. And I placed for myself a throne, and took; my seat on it, and said to the light: 'Go thou up higher and fix thyself high above the throne, and be 5 a foundation to the highest things.' And above the light there is nothing else, and then I bent up and looked up from my throne.
(Since we cannot highlight important Words here, I will tell you what you must focus on. "I was in the midst of the great light, and as there is born light from light, there came forth a great age, and showed all creation, which I had thought to 4 create." The GREAT LIGHT is the Creator-Father Himself).

(B) The moon

1. III Baruch 9:1 And they having retired, the night also fell, and at the same time came the chariot of the 2 moon, along with the stars. And I Baruch said, Lord, show me it also, I beseech of thee, how 3 it goes forth, where it departs, and in what form it moves along. And the angel said, wait and thou shalt see it also shortly. And on the morrow I also saw it in the form of a woman, and sitting on a wheeled chariot. And there were before it oxen and lambs in the chariot, and a multitude of 4 angels in like manner. And I said, Lord, what are the oxen and the lambs? And he said to me, 5 They also are angels. And again I asked, Why is it that it at one time increases, but at another 6 time decreases? And (he said to me), Listen, O Baruch: This which thou seest had been written 7 by God beautiful as no other. And at the transgression of the first Adam, it was near to Sammael when he took the serpent as a garment. And it did not hide itself but increased, and God was 8 angry with it, and afflicted it, and shortened its days. And I said, And how does it not also shine always, but only in the night? And the angel said, Listen: as in the presence of a king, the courtiers cannot speak freely, so the moon and the stars cannot shine in the presence of the sun; for the stars are always suspended, but they are screened by the sun, and the moon, although it is uninjured, is consumed by the heat of the sun.

2. Genesis 37:9. And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. 10. And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?

(From this dream, the sun is Father, the moon is mother, and the stars are children).

3. Revelation 12:1. And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2. And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

2 Esdras 2:15 'Mother, cherish your sons. Rear them joyfully as a dove rears her nestlings; teach them to walk without stumbling. You are my chosen one, 16 says the Lord. I will raise up the dead from their resting-places, and bring them out of their tombs, for I have acknowledged that they bear my name. 17 Have no fear, mother of many sons; I have chosen you, says the Lord. 29, 30 'My power shall protect you, and save your sons from hell. Be joyful, 31 mother, you and your sons, for I will come to your rescue. Remember your children who sleep in the grave; I will bring them up from the depths of the earth, and show mercy to them; for I am merciful, says the Lord 32 Almighty. Cherish your children until I come, and proclaim my mercy to them; for my favour flows abundantly from springs that will never run dry.' 38. Rise, stand up, and see the whole company of those who bear the 39 Lord's mark and sit at his table. They have moved out of the shadow of this 40 world and have received shining robes from the Lord. Receive, O Zion your full number, and close the roll of those arrayed in white who have 41 faithfully kept the law of the Lord. The number of your sons whom you so long desired is now complete.

Psalm 87:4. I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there. 5. And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. 6. The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah. 7. As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.

Isaiah 54:4. Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. 5. For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Galatians 4:26. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

(C) The shadow of the earth

1. Psalm 23: 4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

2. Hebrews 2:14. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15. And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

3. Isaiah 49:14. But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. 15. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. 16. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. 17. Thy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee. 18. Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the Lord, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.

A lunar eclipse occurs when the sun, the earth and the moon are in a straight line. The sun shines upon the earth casting a shadow upon the moon. The moon then “turns to blood†taking on a reddish appearance. Viewing this from the spiritual perspective, when Father (the sun) teaches (shines) men on earth and reveals that flesh and blood human beings on earth (shadow of death) are his children, then Mother Wisdom “clothes Herself with them all as a Bride†(the moon turns to blood). This is what the eclipse of the moon means.

MY COMMENTS: I disagree with you premise, John. The sun, moon and the stars, as heavenly bodies, are referred to many times in the Bible, but to interpret them as "symbols for true Spirit Beings who rule heaven and earth" is, IMO, just someone's imagination.

You quote from "Secrets of Enoch", "Third Baruch" and "2 Esdras" which are not part of the complete Scriptures, to be used to establish some kind of doctrine, IMO.

The Scriptures set forth the heavenly bodies as metaphors and signs, some of which I will show:

Certainly, Gen. 37:9, as you quoted, the sun, moon and stars in Joseph's dream, are figures of his Father, Mother and Brothers.

Psalm 19:1-6, describe how the heavens, the sun, moon and stars, declare the glory of God with out a word to all the earth; while 19:7-10 tells us it is His word that goes forth to bless all the earth.

All for now. More later, Bick

Dang! And here I thought all it meant was that the moon got into the Earth's shadow! :-D

That is all it means. God may use these things at times to better impress upon us certain events, (such as the crucifixion) but to take it any further that that is bordering on witchcraft thinking and very much superstition, not bible. I also noticed the quotes from apocrypha books. Hum enough said. :)

Daniel 12:8. And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9. And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Isaiah 64:3. When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence. 4. For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Revelation 10: 8. And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. 9. And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10. And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. 11. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Matthew 10:26. ... for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. 27. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

Isaiah 29:18. And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. 19. The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. 20. For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:

John,
GOOD NEWS, Inc. :P :D

John, you quote from four different places in the Bible, and most of them unrelated,

What are you trying to establish?

From Daniel 12:8 you emphasize that his "words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end."
He is writing what will occur to his people, Israel, and, to me, to the wise of Israel will be revealed the meanings of this book. And, the time of the end must be the tribulation (Daniel's 70th week), particularly, the last half. This is still future.

Isaiah, writes that many things are not perceived what God hath prepared for them that waiteth for him. Is this not a picture of the glorious millennial kingdom, where Israel is again the chief of nations?

John, in Revelation tells us that in his vision he ate the little book...etc, and was then to prophesy again before many peoples, nations, tongues and kings. Since he was on the Isle of Patmos when he was given this vision, and stayed there, I assume, until his death, the prophecy was, to me. this book.

All for now, must go.

What you see is this ....

Isaiah 28:9. Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11. For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13. But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

The Bible is a scrambled Word-puzzle. And my Teacher is taking a text here and from there, a little from Enoch and a little from Isaiah as He shows us scripture Word-paths in His BOOK! This is what God is doing NOW!

Psalm 50:16. But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? 17. Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee. 18. When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. 19. Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. 20. Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son. 21. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

He says, "I will set my statutes (Words) in order (link them properly) before thine eyes!

John,
ourfamily1  :P :D

When I look up and see the lunar eclipse. I think,my my, God has done beautiful things in the heavens… so precise so orderly :P

John's quote:
"Isaiah 54:4. Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. 5. For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole "

Yes, the Lord God, in a metaphor, likens himself as a husband to Israel. But, after all their years of idolatry, playing the harlot, the Lord says he is no longer her husband:

Hosea 2:2, "Contend with your mother, contend; for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband. Let her, therefore, put away her harlotry out of her sight, and her adultries from between her breasts, "

And, IMO, this continues until Christ as Messiah returns in power and great glory, to defeat his enemies and rescue believing Israelites.
