Ephesians 5:18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
This is not a call for believers to seek to be continually filling themselves up with the Spirit: this is a verse exhorting believers to remain filled with the Spirit as opposing being drunk with wine wherein there is excess. In other words: it is a call to be sober as one to remain in self control.
The calls to be sober for all believers is repeated in 1 Thessalonians 5:6-8.
It is stressed for those that are bishops or elders: 1 Timothy 3:2-3 & Titus 1:7-8
Even the deacons are to be sober and not given to much wine: 1 Timothy 3:8
Even their wives are to be sober: 1 Timothy 3:11
Aged men are to be sober: Titus 2:2
The young men are to be sober: Titus 2:6-8
The aged women as well: Titus 2:3
So they can teach young women to be sober: Titus 2:4
In all that call for sobriety: there is no necessity for seeking to fill oneself up with the Spirit to be sober, thus Ephesians 5:18 is just a call to remain in self control which is a fruit of the Spirit called temperance.
