Who are the angels of the seven churches?

Rev. 1:11 ...What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia;

Rev. 1:20 ...The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Speculation abounds as to who and or what the seven angels of the seven churches in Asia are. The bible however tells us who they are, what they are, and their names. In Acts we see seven brethren of Paul traveling with him into Asia.

Acts 20:4 And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berea; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.

It is most likely these men that Paul writes of and he calls them "the messengers of the churches."

2Cor. 8:23 Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.

These men were the representatives of the seven churches in Asia and as such were rebuked or commended for what was going on in their churches.

The seven churches spoken of were situated on a Roman mail route and the route was built by the Romans to facilitate the giving of messages to and from Rome, just look on a map, they are in a circle, Church history tells us John the beloved was the itinerant pastor of these seven churches and he had a house in Ephesus.

The lessons of the seven churches can be taken as (1) literal churches existing at the time of John's writing, ...(2) personal instructions to believers throughout the ages including us today, ...(3) and as as reference to chronological church history,
