The Nautical Left

I know that many think that nautical is always right (though I'm not mixing this up with our Knotical, for he would never make that claim).
But there is a thing known as the nautical left (not that I would ever claim that our knotical is a leftist nor would I claim he knows anything about boating).
But here's a good way to understand it.
