Bible Study "The Passion" Just another movie?

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this thread. Let the mods figure this one out.

This is not about 'reviewing' the movie.

I am curious as to what others think of this 'story'. Is it Biblically sound, or is it 'just another movie' ? How much is taken from the Word itself and how much is nothing more than creative interpretation?

I know that 'most' here will have seen this movie and I'm just curious to see other's feelings on this matter.

Two things wrong His mother following him around, and trying to wipe up the blood.

And satan did not try to talk him out of it in the garden.

Satan did not know the plan of salvation, by God.

but other wise it was pretty close, and He did lose all of His blood before he died.

Satan as a woman? that's ridiculous. Mary begs, “Flesh of my flesh, heart of my heart, my son, let me die with you.†It's a Catholic intrepretation of the Gospels pure and simple. I believe this site critiques it pretty well.

I agree with you for the most part, but strip out all the embellishments and the Catholicsm and what do you have... beside a much shorter movie? I think this is the point Darrell was making.
