God always establishes peace and order in His kingdom by obedience to the fathers! No. You are twisting Scripture again. There have been Popes who have done TERRIBLE things! thank you. https://www.historyskills.com/classroom/ancient-history/worst-popes/
since there not impeccable we don't have to hear them! No. You are twisting Scripture again. There have been Popes who have done TERRIBLE things! thank you. https://www.historyskills.com/classroom/ancient-history/worst-popes/
what's heb 13:7-17 say?No. You are twisting Scripture again. There have been Popes who have done TERRIBLE things! thank you. https://www.historyskills.com/classroom/ancient-history/worst-popes/
Christ and His church are one inseparable unity!Luke 10 16.. that sets up Jesus's authority not independent authority of the Apostles. The Apostles have authority only as they teach what Jesus says. And! This is not unique to the apostles. Anyone who preaches the Gospel has authority, not because of themselves but because of the authority of the Gospel itself..
Again John 13 20 applies to Jesus's authority displayed in anyone He sends, which is true of the Apostles but not unique to them. And that authority is not of the people He sends it is the authority of the gospel.
And so on.....
Inseparable in a completely different context from priestly authority. The church is all individual believers not one unified entity. Christ is our one and only head of the church.Christ and His church are one inseparable unity!
Mt 28:20 Jn 15:5 Jn 20:21-23 acts 9:4 Eph 5:24 eph 5:32
This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
spiritual anarchy!Inseparable in a completely different context from priestly authority. The church is all individual believers not one unified entity. Christ is our one and only head of the church.
High priest implies low priests under His authority in hierarchyInseparable in a completely different context from priestly authority. The church is all individual believers not one unified entity. Christ is our one and only head of the church.
No one. He still overseas the church through the Holy Spirit. If one is in the Church they are under God's authority as they should be in their lives. If one attends a church. Small c, they put themselves under the leaders of that church or in some cases that denomination.spiritual anarchy!
Christ ascended to heaven who did he appoint to teach, sanctify and Govern the church?
There are no more high or low priests. There is only christ.High priest implies low priests under His authority in hierarchy
king implies ministers under a prime minister
"Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account". (Heb.13:17)what's heb 13:7-17 say?
then explain matt 16:18-19 Matt 17:24-27 Jn 21:15-17No one. He still overseas the church through the Holy Spirit. If one is in the Church they are under God's authority as they should be in their lives. If one attends a church. Small c, they put themselves under the leaders of that church or in some cases that denomination.
The idea that God set one person as head of the Body of Christ is false and found nowhere in scripture either by word or example.
For instance James, leader of the church in Jerusalem had no authority over the ministry of Paul.
Infallible single leader of the church is absolutely unscriptural
Infallible? Nope.. not even Peter.
When Cephas (Peter)came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. 12 For before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself from the Gentiles because he was afraid of those who belonged to the circumcision group. 13 The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray.
14 When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in front of them all, “You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?
More than one leader of the church in Jerusalem, not just Peter.
As for those who were held in high esteem—whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism—they added nothing to my message. 7 On the contrary, they recognized that I had been entrusted with the task of preaching the gospel to the uncircumcised,[a] just as Peter had been to the circumcised. 8 For God, who was at work in Peter as an apostle to the circumcised, was also at work in me as an apostle to the Gentiles. 9 James, Cephas[c] and John, those esteemed as pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised.
Done already you just choose not to believe.then explain matt 16:18-19 Matt 17:24-27 Jn 21:15-17
acts 15:7
