The Plaque

[Mr. Aaron]

In preparation for Memorial Day one year, the church had a beautiful, ornate bronze plaque designed and put it on display in the Narthex. The Sunday it was presented, the pastor noticed a little boy gazing at it in the Narthex after the morning service. Smiling, he approached the little boy and said "What do you think of this, son?" The boy kept looking at the plaque as he said "What is it, Pastor?" The Pastor replied "Well, its a list of all the people from this congregation who have died in the service." Suddenly turning ashen, the boy whispered "Which service . . . morning or evening?"
