Question- Why will Jesus eat the Passover meal again if it no longer something that needs to be observed? Was this a Scriptural mistake or is this Scripture not understood by some saints?

Why Jesus allude He was going to eat the Passover again with His disciples if it is as most say passed away and no longer needs to be observed? He was speaking in a literal sense, not figuratively. He said He will participate in the Passover again when the Kingdom of God comes. The Lord’s Supper was already a part of the Passover meal; hence He was not instituting anything new. These were things that were already of the Jewish culture and religious traditions. He was just showing that the bread and wine were symbols of and foreshadowed Him.

Luke 22: 14-18
14 When the hour had come, He reclined at the table, and the apostles with Him. 15 And He said to them, "I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; 16 for I say to you, I shall never again eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God." 17 And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He said, "Take this and share it among yourselves; 18 for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes." NKJV

He should have said I will not eat the Lord’s Supper until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God but He did not; however, He said in all three chapters that He would partake in it again referring to the Passover meal as a whole. The book of Luke is written to gentiles and it is the most gentile slanted book. So why would look include this under the power of the Holy Spirit? He bluntly said that Jesus would eat the Passover meal again with His followers long after His resurrection and when His kingdom comes. Was this a Scriptural mistake or is this Scripture not understood by some saints? Most saints do not respect or observe the Passover, but this Scripture shows that Christ still intends to observe it at a future date……….

May I make a request at the risk of sounding picky?

Could you deleted the R915, R916, etc. found in your scripture. It makes reading the passage tough at times. Thanks.

Also, in adherence to the Terms of Service and the various Bible publishing copyrights, would you include a reference to the Bible translation if it isn't declared "Public Domain"? (KJV and YLT would be considered public domain)

Thanks in advance

Have you considered that "most" (as you term it) do not say that? "Most" Christians actually believe Christ is present - not spiritually, but physically - during "communion", and that He is ALREADY with us again at the "Pasch". For most Christians, the "Breaking of the Bread", to use a Biblical phrase, is actually the center and summit of their worship.
