Earth is a “pale blue dot,” thanks to oceans, lakes, and rivers that cover 71% of the planet’s surface. But where did this abundance of water come from?

And think of how “lucky” earth is in the evolutionary view:

In the sense that alligators are "lucky" to just have been hatched out in a swampy area.

Just the right distance from the sun to be not too hot and not too cold

In surveys of planets in the solar system and elsewhere, it becomes clear that very few of them are precisely the right distance from a star to be not too hot and not too cold for the type of life we know about. It doesn't seem all that surprising that the type of life we know about exists on a planet that would accommodate such life.

Just the right sun that’s the right size and fairly stable and predictable

Yep.

Just the right size to hold on to our atmosphere (an atmosphere that just so happens to be just right for life!)

Yep.

The perfect magnetic field to stop harmful radiation from the sun but not harm life

Turns out, it fluctuates a lot over the ages, and even reverses now and then. Life went on.

A moon just the right size and distance from earth to control our tides

The moon's distance from the Earth has varied a lot over the ages. And yes, it left evidence for that. Life went on. The tides, BTW, are the reason the Moon is receding from the Earth.

Oceans, lakes, and rivers of fresh and salty water—in liquid form!

Ran out of reasons, and went back to No. 1, I guess.

Just the right tilt so we experience the seasons

Explain why life needs seasons. Life at the equator seems to do just fine without it.

And so much more!

No doubt. :)
