I recently had several things happen almost in perfect harmony of each other that led to a very life changing experience.
This book is at the forefront of that. I highly recommend it(The Resolution for Men) to any man, older teenage male that is out there. This book really dives deep into what Sherwood Baptist was trying to convey in the film Courageous. It is the text of what the Resolution the men in the film signed. It explores in depth not only what it is to biblically be a father but to be a husband, to be a man, to be a man following after Jesus. It explains what your role in life needs to be.
I myself ended up ordering this book on 1 day, the next my grandfather(who was like a father to me) passed away. The day after he was buried I received it in the mail.
I have read through it in a quick read through but it is meant to be read a week at a time and applied to your life and have since began doing that.
This book is probably the most important book I've had that wasn't a Bible. I can only assume given the feel I got for it that the Resolution for Women is just as good and would do wonders to work wonders in its readers lives too.
