The Sabbath is Saturday

digging around and trying to find any scripture

That, my friend, will be a profitable dig that may continue to yield nuggets of pure gold for the REST of your lifetime. There is such an abundance of Scripture that even 7th Day Adventists have become convinced but the 'trick' for that is for both parties involved in the study to switch sides and prove the point of view of the other brother. It can not be oppositional because the Holy Spirit is easily quenched and grieved. Good thing our God is easily entreated too. "Where two or more are joined in my name, there also am I." I have not seen any conflict between this understanding and a literal understanding of the doctrine. So it's not an argument that can be "won," because it requires revelation and is a thing that must be contemplated in the very spirit of peace that passeth understanding, prayerfully, and rightly joined toward unity. It is a seed that requires soft soil.

There would be no attempt at "conversion" because there is no need. This may only be done by the working of the Holy Spirit who is holy and utterly apart from all sin.
