I myself do not think so, so what say ye, the rest of you ? First of all Yeshua, did not even look like that. The features are European, Jesus was not from Europe

It probably isn't Jesus, but I wonder how that image got on there. It's not just a painting. Perhaps they had technologies back then that we don't have today to have that image placed on there like that. This is probably one of those things we may never figure out.

I'm on the fence. I don't think the image is clear enough to tell whether the face being depicted is European or not, it could just as easily pass for a person of Arab or Indian origin. It would be nice if it were authentic.

Here's another Shroud site:

Lewis, I don't know what this 'Shroud of Turin' is truly all about and I don't know if it is fake or what. I have serious doubts about it being authentic.

In regard to the features of a person, those are not what determine if a person is of the Hebrew/Jewish lineage or not. The facial features of many of the Hebrew/Jews come in every form imaginable. Why would it matter what his features looked like anyway?

I do know that the lineage of Jesus is from the tribe of Judah and even if we were to study the color and features of all the people mentioned in the bible from out of the lineage of Jesus I don't think we could come to any conclusions as to what exactly Jesus' face would have actually looked like. It really doesn't matter to me if he was short, medium or tall in height, brown haired, black haired, blonde haired or red haired, light skin, medium skin, dark skin, etc. I don't even care what his nose looked like! :) All that I know is that HE is the embodiment of the HOLY SPIRIT of Father God, Him being One with the Father and that He IS our Our Savior from the sins of this world. :yes
Say :amen to that.

:wave .

Maybe Dave could start a new thread about this? :rolling

Ok I saw a documentary on this, and the Catholic researcher said that the shroud was that of a European caucasian, I was like how is that so, He was not born in Europe, so don't anybody turn this into some type of race thing.

I'm definitely not trying to turn it into a race thing, but looking at the images, IMO its impossible to tell for sure what race he is.

Well that is what the researcher said.
