SAINT..... regarding "confession....

1.) We dont have to confess what Christ has died to forgive, and has forgiven for eternity..

2.) There is also the fact that Romans 4:8, is true.

So, a believer says...."well, John says to confess", yet..= Paul says that our Sins are not held against us.
And if we understand that "where there is no LAW there is no TRANSGRESSION"< and Jesus has fulfilled the law and the Law is abolished regarding our sin debt, and we are now given the righteousness of God himself, as our own...........
If this were not true, then we are not saved, as Salvation is based on God's Righteousness being given to us, so that He can accept us.
So, that's completed.
Salvation is a finished IMPUTATION.....its a FREE GIFT.
Being "born again" has accomplished the fact of our eternal Righteousness, in God's eyes, = being the same as HIS.
To go to heaven, to exit where a Holy God exists, you have to be as Holy as He is, as Righteous as He is.
So, THUS ENDETH all your efforts to get there.
Game over.
You are saved and kept saved by GOD's righteousness being given to you.....PERIOD.
There is one "way" to be accepted by God.....John 14:6.....= and you are not it.
Keep in mind that if you are trying to keep yourself saved by lifestyle, good works, holding unto your faith, enduring to the end, confession of sin, or by anything YOU Do.. then you have stopped trusting in Christ to save you.
You didnt realize this??
So where are you then?.....

But then a confused Christian who has been badly trained (theologically speaking), says..."but, John 1:9, and 1Jn 1:5"....what about THAT.

So, SAINT..... ill tell you "what about that".

John is not butting heads with Paul.
The New Testament in 1st Jn is not contradicting the finished work of the Blood Atonement as you seem to think it does.
You are not given Eternal life as a FREE GIFT, to then have to maintain it by your confessing sin and worrying about not losing your salvation.
You dont confess to keep a GIFT !!!
IT CANT BE BOTH.
So, Let God be right, and let the wrong be taught, if they have ears to hear.
The first thing.......If what one Apostle seems to be teaching is that you confess sins after you are saved, so that you can stay saved IF YOU DO, WHILE God has said through Paul that He does not hold SIN against you, after you are saved....then there is a theological disconnect in the NT, if that is the case.
So what is the issue?
The issue is the way the NT is worded regarding the way they both meant to be understood, vs how they literally can be misinterpreted and have been by many who are trying to "stay saved".
For example you have some heretic running around here recently trying to make you think you can lose your salvation based on a few verses that talk about "men shall gather you and throw you into the fire, etc.
So, obviously this is a messed up mess, when the person who posted these verses, hoping to create fear in you regarding you "losing" your Blood Atonement..... What a satanic mess we find = when the person does not even have the spiritual insight of a baby Christian to realize that this verse is not LITERAL......but its analogy, its symbolic.
But this knucklehead thinks its LITERAL, and his theologically misguided "church" thinks its literal, and that is why he posts NONSENSE as truth, using verses he does not understand, can not handle, and certainly should not be trying to use to harm other Christians.
But that does not stop him from trying it.

So then,...now...... about John telling you to confess.....
Well, here is the thing.
If your sins have been judged on the Cross......If God's judgement against your Sins are the "cup of the wrath of God" that Jesus asked the Father if he could avoid.....If Jesus has surely been nailed and sacrificed for your "SIN"...., then why are you confessing what Jesus has died for and has eternally paid for and resolved?....
Did you think about this yet?
Time to think about it.
Time you do,, and once you do, you'll then begin to realize that John's "confession of sin", is ither aimed at non- believers, 1Jn , or its aimed at believers. in other verses.... but the context of the word "confess", is not "to be forgiven AGAIN" in the sense of what the Cross has provided for you for ETERNITY - ALREADY !!
So, the context of John's "confession", is strictly to do with fellowship, and NEVER to do with Justification, regarding a BELIEVER.
GET THAT DOWN...

To simplify.
God does not hold you accountable, in eternity, for what Jesus has already died to pay for on earth......that is the bottom line.
God does not accept what you do after you are saved, to keep you saved, anymore then he accepts anything you would do before you were SAVED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB.
Now, do you see this?
Can you grab it?
YOU HAVE TO, or you'll spend your Christianity trying to do for yourself what God has already done for you on a CROSS.

Also, the Law is gone, regarding being used to judge you for your sin....as Jesus has died, and that is GOD's judgement for your lifetime of SIN, being Judged against CHRIST.
ITS DONE !
So, God does not judge his Son for your lifetime of sin, then judge you in eternity later.
Understand ?????.........You have to get that.......if you dont, you are going to remain trapped in a blind state regarding Salvation and what it has accomplished FOR YOU, that is irrevocable and eternal.
God will not hold you accountable for your SIN in Eternity, because He has already JUDGED CHRIST for it ALL.
= welcome to SALVATION.......welcome to what Jesus has done for you on a CROSS.
Isn't it REMARKABLE?

"what can wash away my SIN SIN SIN SIN SIN, nothing but the blood blood blood blood of JESUS.... Oh crimson is the flow that makes me white as snow....
There you go.
Thats YOU.
God says you are SAVED.
See that "D" on that word?
Its means DONE, SOLVED, ENDED, RESOLVED, FINISHED...ETERNAL.

So finally..... what exaclty is this "confession".. that John is speaking about that has you upside down while trying to keep yourself saved?????
Its very simple, Saint.
You are in a love relationship with God Himself.
He is your FATHER and you are his Child, ....His family member.
You are not only Blood bought, you are "born again", into God's Family.
Subsequent to this.....When you do something that you would define as a "sin" as a Christian, (that Paul defines as a "work of the flesh".. .....Then this is exactly the same RESULT as if you committed it against your earthly parents or other family members.
So, what has this done to the relationship, in both cases?.... = Its disturbed it, its harmed it, its created chaos within it,... but it has not broken it or ended it, because you cant break or end a FAMILY (born into it) relationship with a member of your BLOOD.......You can only create an issue where you have to "make it right", or there is no peace, there is no fellowship, and there is no harmony, within THE RELATIONSHIP that ALWAYS REMAINS.
This is exactly the same with GOD or your BLOOD Family., as God has made you His family by Jesus's Blood, and your mama has made you her family by her blood and birth....etc.
You are blood BORN into both families.
So, in both cases, "confession" of the wrong deed you have done, and asking forgiveness, is not to save yourself, but its to restore the peace and fellowship within the relationship that has been upended and damaged by your deed, and it also clears your conscience of GUILT.
Confession restores FELLOWSHIP with people and GOD, and calms your conscience., and that is why you confess.
You are not confessing to restore your salvation, as JESUS ON A CROSS is the reason you have that, Saint.
But rather you are confessing your DEED, and asking forgiveness......saying you are sorry to your mother , to your brother, to your child, to your Father in Heaven, so that the damaged relations, the broken FELLOWSHIP, the guilty conscience, the harmed peace, can be restored to the harmony that existed before you messed it up with your DEED.

They're actually our testimony before men who are quick to accuse.

Conscience sake plays an ultimate part of our relationship with God. He doesn't reject us His children, but due to perceived wrong we begin withholding our approach to Him.
