I'd like the input of anyone on this.

My inescapable feeling on the crises in Egypt is that this is the beginning of the formation and solidification of the Southern Kingdom that will set itself against the Northern Kingdom (Revived Roman Empire / United Mediteranean Nations) as foretold in the Bible.

Already we are hearing how the peoples of other Arab nations are closely watching these events unfolding and it might have a huge domino effect. A united Arab Muslim front of nations who have broken or diminished their political ties with the US will surely turn on Israel as the last bastion of American influence and surpression in their region which will undoubtly usher in the unification of the European nations politically and financially to stand against this threat (the formation of the Northern Kingdom / Revival of Roman Empire)

Yes, I agree. I was thinking the same thing that this is the alignment of the nations that will become the Southern Kingdom under the "King of the South" who will one day clash with Antichrist aka "King of the North (Daniel 11).

While I agree that the Northern Kingdom will be of the revived Roman Empire, the description of the Antichrist Himself is a mixture of ALL the empires, but specifically being Assyrian, empowered by the Grecian Demon (Alexander the Great) and more specifically from the Seleucid portion of the Grecian Empire. The Roman Empire encompassed a vast area so it could extend to the middle east (as illustrated in Revelation that the beast has the feet of a bear--- the bear, where he's planted, is the Medo-Persian Empire in Daniel). Those that embrace a European Antichrist claim he will come from Germany, like Hitler, since they are from the Assyrians.

Besides the Northern Kingdoms and Southern Kingdoms, I see two others, i.e. Gog, Magog and all the associated nations (Ezekiel 38). They are where Russia and China is geographically located and will also invade in the end times.

The last group are the Israelite nations themselves. Besides the Jews in Israel itself, I hold to "lost tribes" history where I believe many of the people in NW Europe, Britain (and the Commonwealth) and the USA are actually (migrated) people by physical descendants of Jacob to fulfill the prophecy of becoming many nations, many which embraced Christianity. These will initially fight, but undergo severe testing, trial, and all the bad stuff God said would happen to Israel if they did not obey His Law. Jeremiah refers to this tribulation as the "time of Jacob's Trouble".

I don't see how anyone could relate Daniel 11 to end times when the entire context of the chapter is about the Greek 4 horns that come up after Alexander the Great, the Goat with the Great horn. The king of the North was the sons of one of the four generals, the Seleucids, and the king of the South was the Ptolemies, sons of a another one of Alexander's generals. History documents this! It is the daughters of these Greek Egyptian Pharoahs is where you get the Cleopatras of Egypt. It is Julius Ceasar's affair with one of these Cleopatras, is history's epic of the Roman conquest of the then world, from Greece to Egypt.

To equate Daniel 11 to end times because of Daniel's 12 context is irrational. Once one connect the dots as to why there's 4/5 horsemen in Revelation, 4/5 beast kingdoms in Daniel, and 4 fallen angels from the river Euphrates with the Beast from the bottomless pit (5), you will realize why Daniel 12 is the 2nd Resurrection scene in Revelation 20 after the 1,000 yr reign. Each beast kingdom represents one of these 4/5 fallen angels/horsemen.

I never said that about Jews. If you read the book in my signature, I believe as J.H. Allen does about the jews, i.e they are just part of Israel from the house of Judah and hence their name in accordance with historical accuracy. Since the lost tribes is a historical fact, it's anyone's guess where they ended up, but must be preserved for end-times to take place. I believe what I do because the biblical descriptions, promises and prophecies of the tribes of Israel fits these nations better (or I should say perfectly) over anyone else, but I'm all ears if anyone has a better candidate. God said that about Israel in His Word, not me.

No. Anyone who celebrates Passover on April 5 according to a solar calendar is not playing with a full deck IMO. I had some real calendar troubles with these folks. However, they understand where I am coming from and am friends with one of them. The Hebrews (and God's feasts) were in part determined by the lunar cycle as well as solar. It's dangerous to mess with the set times.

BTW, who says I have to be part of any group? I came to these conclusions myself, but to an untrained ear I sound like someone from H. W. Armstrong's church. But if he were alive today, he would not like my usage of apocryphal sources and my angelic interpretation of Genesis 6 for the "sons of God". But much like Armstrong, I came to similar conclusions and I have to say, hey, if the guy's right most of the time, he's right.

One of the first major mistakes in trying to locate lost tribes is to look for someone who "behaves like the Jews". No, instead one has to look for a Gentile. That's what Joseph became in Egypt where his brethren did not recognize him. He was the father and forerunner of his descendants.

I definatly see the events in egypt as the rise of an islamic caliphate, and egypt is definatly the QOTS referance in Danial, but i dont see the rise of a roman empire as the king of the north. Likely Russia.

The ( This generation) statement is given in context of the fig tree parable, not his destruction of the temple statements. and revelation 11v17 shows that while his kingdom is not of this world it will overtake the kingdoms of the earth at the 7th/last trump.
