Hi Wondering, You have to live with what you understand and be faithful to it. As long as you have trusted and are a born again believer in Christ by faith, you have the same standing before The Lord as Paul or any other saint. (Saint means you are sanctified) It really means you are set apart from the world by God in Jesus Christ. But our state (maturity) is not as instant as our standing. Faith alone in Christ gives us our standing. But maturity comes by trial from fighting the good fight over time.
My point is that you should not count being for Christ as being saved. If you have not been born again, you are still who you were, for it is the Holy Spirit that build the temple, all praising God in one voice (1 Cor. 6:19) (Rom. 15:16) (Eph. 1:17) (Rev. 1:6). This is what God does to the Born again believer, Gives us His Spirit.. This is Salvation, and covers all that God has done in Jesus The Christ. I hope this helps you understand what I was explaining in the other post. Not that is is wrong to be for Christ, but being for Christ is not being saved.
