Hi friends,
First of all, Jesus, Paul and John all taught us about a pre-trib rapture of the Church. Jesus in Jn.14:1-4, 28 and Rev.3:10. Paul in 1 Thes.4:14-18, and in vs 15 wrote the following, "ACCORDING TO THE LORD'S OWN WORD...", to reinforce his own testimony of his letter to the Thessalonians. And John, from Jesus own teachings that he wrote about, including Rev.4:1-2, when Jesus used him symbolically to represent the Church being called into heaven before the tribulation begins.
In the second place, the timing of the rapture of the Church is determined from Scriptures telling us some of the details about the tribulation. For example, we learn in Jer.30:7, that Israel will go through a period of trouble, referred to as 'Jacob's Trouble.' The same period of time Jesus referred to in Mt.24:21-22, in His ministry to the 'lost sheep of Israel,' Mt.10:5-6 and 15:24].
The Scriptures tell us how to determine when 'Jacob's Trouble' will begin as well as how long a period of time it is going to be in Dan.9:27. Where it is revealed, 'He will confirm a covenant with many [Israel and ?], for ONE WEEK...' ['He' triggers/begins the WEEK]. Then in the middle of this WEEK, the same 'he' who started the WEEK is going to break this covenant and set up an abomination of desolation, as Jesus testified in Mt.24:15. The two 'he's' is the same vile person, and is the Antichrist, and the WEEK is a seven year period of time.
In the third place [paraphrased], Jesus said there are many mansions in His Father's house, which He is going away to prepare for all of us who belong to Him. That He will return for us to take us with Him so we can be with Him, where He is [Jn.14:2-4]. That He is going to His Father in heaven, where He promised to take us with Him when He returns [Jn.14:28].
THE FOLLOWING IS THE KEY TO UNDERSTANDING WHEN THE CHURCH WILL BE CAUGHT UP [RAPTURED], TO BE WITH THE LORD. BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY PRESENT DAY MISTRANSLATIONS OF THIS PASSAGE, UNFORTUNATELY.
"Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him, we ask you brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, SAYING THAT THE DAY OF THE LORD HAS ALREADY COME." 2 Thes.2:2.
"Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day [THE DAY OF THE LORD] will not come until the DEPARTURE [Of the Church, from original ms] occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed [The Antichrist, the 'he' in Dan.9:27 and the first rider, on the white horse, in the first of the seven seals in Rev.6:2], the man doomed to destruction." 2 Thes.2:3.

Paul repeats the above in a little different way, as follows:
"For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the ONE WHO NOW HOLDS IT BACK WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO UNTIL HE [ IS TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY."Who is the one body of Jesus Christ, His Church, by the One Spirit, 1 Cor.12:12-13]. 2 Thes.2:7.
"And then the lawless one [The Antichrist/the 'he' in Dan.9:27] will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of His mouth and destroy by the splendor of His coming." 2 Thes.2:8.
Therefore, the Scriptures clearly reveal there willbe a pre-trib rapture of the Church, immediately followed with the revealing of the Antichrist, who triggers the seven years of tribulation, the Day of the Lord.
