The torment of spirit and flesh

If we were all spirit there would be no internal conflict.
We sin when the flesh wins.
In my opinion, it's a life long struggle or battle. We are at war with ourselves. No wonder we can't make peace with others.
The flesh thinks it knows best.
Maybe we need to let the flesh sin a little. A puritanical approach can make things worse.

End that battle by crucifying the flesh, with the vile affections and lusts. (Gal 5:24)
