Hello Doc. It's a pleasure to meet you. :)

The scriptures that I have posted above do indeed prove that water baptism is essential for salvation. But it is obvious that you need something more. so I am going to post my treatise on water baptism in a new post: just for you, so that you can get a through understaning of what the scriptures say concerning water baptism.

Have a great day.

Lolz. Theres a treatise? I didn't think you could sound any more legalistic on the issue of water baptism but you've certainly outdone yisself there gideon. We are baptized with the Holy Spirit.

1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with
the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with
water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I
am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy
Ghost and with fire:

Justification has nothing to do with H20 my friend.

Hello every one. There are so many false gospels, or at the best, partial gospels being preached on t.v. and in the churches, that God put it on my heart to give a clear teaching on what the true gospel is.

lol wut?

So everyone else is wrong and you are the only one who knows the "true" gospel?

Good luck with that.

Absolutely! You cannot prove that what has been posted is not true! You can greatly expande each point given: but you cannot ruduce it! Each point is essential to being saved!

The True Gospel informs us that Christ died specifically for a elect people, and not for all men without exception..

The True Gospel informs us that Christ died specifically for a elect people, and not for all men without exception..

And exactly where in the bible does it say that Jesus died for only a few people? Please quote the scripture if you can. Here is what the bible says.

John 12:32-33
32 And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself." 33 This He said, signifying by what death He would die. NKJV

Note that Jesus promised that He would draw all peoples, that means that salvation is open to everyone.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. NKJV

Note that it is not the will of God that any one should perish.

John 3:14-19
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. NKJV

Note that the promise of salvation is to WHOEVER believes in Him.

Rom 10:11-13
11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved." NKJV

Once again we see that salvation is offered to everone who will call on the name of the Lord.

John 6:40
40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day." NKJV

John 6:47
7 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life NKJV

Ezek 18:4
4 "Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die. NKJV

note that God owns every soul. those who refuse to obey him will go to hell.

from these verses alone one may accuratly say that salvation is open to every person on this planet! Will every one respond to the invitation of God? NO! God has given us the gift of a free will, and God knows before hand, yes even before he created the world, who would respond to His offer and those who would not! And based upon His forknowlege of our choices he has predestined us to either heaven or hell.

Have a great day.

There is another very long thread for this. Let's keep it out of here and keep this one on topic.

After reading through the gospel that you have posted, I have to say that you are absolutely correct! You have posted the true requirements for salvation! There is no other Gospel that can save!

Hello every one. There are so many false gospels, or at the best, partial gospels being preached on t.v. and in the churches, that God put it on my heart to give a clear teaching on what the true gospel is. This is a highly condensed gospel. (compared to the massive volume of scriputures that deal with this topic. My original study that I did on this is 156 pages long.) So here it is:
The Absolute Essentials for Escaping Hell.

1.Must realize that God exists. (Heb 11:6 ‘But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.’ NKJV
2.Must believe that God is a personal God.
3.Cannot believe in a god who does not care about anything that is happening here on earth. Must believe that God is a personnel God who is actively involved in the affairs of men:
4.Must believe that God created all things. And that He created us. Must believe that because God has created us: He has the right to tell us how to live our lives.
5.Must believe that God has a personality: and that He can be offended, and that He can be pleased.
6.Must believe that God has a moral standard that He has given to mankind that He expects us to obey.
7.Must understand that this moral standard is eternal. It existed before the Law of Moses came into existence. It was because of man’s refusal to walk in obedience to the moral laws of God that God destroyed the first world with a flood; He found only one man who was living according to His moral laws at that time and he thus spared him from this extermination. His name was Noah. And it was because of mans continued disobedience to this moral law that God instituted the animal sacrificial system for sin, and instituted the priesthood.
8.Must believe that God lives in heaven and has created Hell for the eternal punishment of all those who disobey Him. (both angels and men.)
9.Must believe that God has communicated His moral standards to us in the Holy Bible.
10.Must believe that the Bible is the only book that God has given to mankind that contains His covenant with man.
11.Must learn what the moral requirements are. (at least some of them.)
12. Must understand that they have not obeyed these moral laws.
13.Must understand that because they have violated these moral laws that God has condemned them to Hell.

Ps 9:17
7 The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God. NKJV

Rev 21:7-8
7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." NKJV

14.Must realize that they cannot save themselves from this horrible fate; that there are no amount of good works that they can do that will appease Gods wrath against them. Must realize that there is nothing apart from Gods plan of salvation that can save him from an eternity in a place of eternal, intense suffering; i.e. HELL.

Eph 2:8-9 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NKJ)

15. Must realize that God loves Him anyway, and has provided a way of escape from this horrible fate.
16.Must realize that God sent a part of Himself to earth and was incarnated in a male body that we know as Jesus Christ.
17.That Jesus came to teach us how to live our lives.
18.That Jesus came to sacrifice His body on a cross in order to become a sacrifice for us; to have Gods wrath poured out on Him so that our crimes against God could be forgiven. For our disobedience to His will must be punished if God is to be just. The wages of our disobedience is death. (i.e. eternal separation from God in Hell.) And if Jesus had not sacrificed Himself for us: then we would all go to Hell. But because He sacrificed Himself on the cross; the penalty for our sins has been paid in full. And thus the door of salvation from Hell is opened up to us.
19. Must feel sorrow/grief (conviction) concerning their disobedience to the moral laws of God.

2 Cor 7:10 ‘For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.’ NKJV

20.Must confess his sins; (i.e. specific acts of disobedience to Gods moral laws. As many as he is aware of at the moment.)

Ps 32:5 I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD," and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah (NKJ)

Ps 38:18 For I will declare my iniquity; I will be in anguish over my sin. (NKJ)

Prov 28:13 He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. (NKJ)

Mtt 3:6 and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins. (NKJ)

Mk 1:5 And all the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins. (NKJ)

(cont.)
Friend, People are called to believe "Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death". Christ died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again. Christ's death saves repentant sinnners. Christ rose from death to save people. Christ will come again to judge the living and dead, of whose kingdom there is no end (no mere 1000 years). That is the Gospel. In Erie Scott H.
