what is the unforgiveable sin and why is it blasphemy and also unforgiveable - twinc

Mark Ch. 3. Is the most clear passage on this subject.

Is there any Bible study in this?

most assuredly is - because most would claim inspiration via the H/S but not the resultant fruits thereof as unforgiveable blasphemy - twinc

Which Scriptures are you wishing to discuss, twinc? After all, you did create this thread.

Thus far, Betty is the only one who has posted scripture.

It appears that twink has abandoned most of his threads at this point....

no - not really - just waiting to see if anyone is concerned or interested - so lets proceed as if specially requested - it is not realised how serious and widespread this unforgiveable sin and blasphemy is which most would deny and hence unforgiveable as almost impossible to repent - scriptures are based on 'by their fruits you shall know them' so lets just see what the results or fruits have followed on from the claims of inspiration via the H/S resulting in blasphemy and blame to the H/S for division, divergence, differences, disputes, confusion and chaos and worse - this is unforgiveable and blasphemy - twinc

Interesting. I kind of see where your coming from. But you are, yourself, being very 'secretive' in your posts. Why not openly explain what you mean?

The Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit that cannot be forgiven is the rejection of the Salvation He offers to the worst of us. It is the will of God that no one should perish and we know from scripture that many (all in my opinion) are called but few are chosen (answer my OP).

To deny the work of the Holy Spirit (knowingly) and assigning it to the work of Satan in the presence of God. Blasphemy is offending the veracity of the Lord God. People can be forgiven for blasphemy, but you would have to be in the presence of God or His Spirit (knowingly) for unforgivable blasphemy. (Matt. 12:31-32) To Bill Taylor's point, Rejecting Salvation is the only thing that sends us to Hell!

here we go again - divergence - this happens again and again - the question is avoided and all sorts of tangents are introduced - so lets get back to the question in question viz is it unforgiveable and blasphemy to blame the H/S for division, divergence, deceit, delusion, differences, disputes, confusion and chaos and much else much worse - twinc

Recommendations and Guidelines for an effective Bible Study

Though not exhaustive, I thought it might help to better define the purpose of the Bible Study Forum, and by doing so, better assist one another with a clearer method to understanding God’s word.

Guidelines

1. Scripture is the basis of study. Stay close to the text.
2. Keep your post to a manageable length where others can respond to a section of scripture as opposed to an entire article.
3. We encourage your understanding of a text. If you wish to post snipits from a website, please make sure it accompanies your comments of the text. Excessive copy / paste from web sites are frowned upon.
4. If you disagree with an interpretation of scripture, think out your response according to the specific text and post accordingly.
5. No debating doctrines or denominational differences. (E.G. TULIP, OSAS, Purgatory, Papacy etc)

The following considerations are suggested to assist in our study of Holy Scripture. This method utilizes an instructional and comprehensive approach

1. Exegesis; Critical explanation or analysis, especially of a text. (I.E. What does the text mean?)
2. Hermeneutics; The theory and methodology of interpretation, especially of scriptural text. (I.E. How did you come to the conclusion of your Exegesis? Does it agree with the Bible as a whole?)
3. Redaction; to draw up or frame ( I.E. a statement, proclamation, etc.)

These guidelines were posted back in 2008 . they been around awhile .. .get your act together or deal with the consequences .
