Most all of my families problems, and stress are caused by the lack of money - All the bills that need to get paid, medical treatment and food. People shouldn't have to worry about getting sick or not having enough food because they can't afford it.

How is money not a blessing? If we had more of it we would be better off.

I understand how you feel. But rest assured you're not alone. We're still coming out of the greatest economic downturn this country has seen since the era called the Great Depression. There are only two things we can do in such a situation. Pray and do the best we can with what we've been given. From what I gather, even more education or education in a different area doesn't help at this point. If you're one of the fortunate to even have a job, praise God.

In my lifetime, I've been through periods of extreme poverty and periods of being able to live comfortably.

I've also been through periods of happiness and well being and periods of severe depression and stress.

Rarely have the two been correlated.

Sometimes it's too easy to look at wealthy people (and that's all relative) and imagine they are care-free. I'll bet if they sat down and told you all their problems, you would go back to your problems with a little less angst. I'm not discounting the way financial hardships impact the marriage and home, but the more money people have, the more access they have to using it unwisely.

Sorry to hear you've been going through a storm, but it rains on rich and not-rich alike.
