The Way the Truth and the Life
Lost in a world of indulgence
Placating every desire
Searching for purpose
Mearly scratching the surface
Running by life to the fire
Plagued with a mind of ideas
Imagination abounding with pride
Motivation is lost
Indulgence has cost
Accomplishment cast to the side
Truth was subjective I believed
Searching for some reprieve
To justify my life as somatic
I laughed to the thoughts in the attic
But then in a rainbow I found
The grace of Christ did abound
The life of a saint was to be
The life that He meant for me
Glory to God the most High
That saved such a sinner as I
Now it’s for Him that I write
The Way, the Truth, and the Life
