What is the difference between the will of God for your life and the plans of God for your life?
Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:6 NLT (What is His will?)Would you please provide me/us with definitions of what you mean by the plans of God as opposed to the will of God? Definitions are important in this kind of discussion and I'm not exactly sure what you are diving at.
The context makes it clear that this is addressed to the nation of Israel, yet it is used time and again as something addressed to individual Christians. In fact, Christians are promised PERSECUTION and possible martyrdom. For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
There is no difference per se.

The will of God for your life is to have faith exclusively in Christ and the Cross, i.e., finished work ("The blood of Jesus"). And to maintain your faith in that only. Romans 3:28 says, "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law."What is the difference between the will of God for your life and the plans of God for your life?

To look on the Son means a Christian who is being saved (sanctification) believes must be by faith in Christ and the Cross only. Anything else is spiritual adultery. The Lord will void your prayers. The Holy Spirit only works in the perimeter of Christ and the Cross. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. (Acts 26:15-18).Do you have biblical evidence for that statement?
