She was believed to be one of the lucky ones: a woman who worked in the Twin Towers and was in her office that morning when the planes came. Somehow, she told people, she survived. In the process, she lost friends and saw her life shattered, but she overcame, becoming an advocate for 9/11 families.

That's sad. She must have been pretty convincing to have gotten away with it for so long.
