I knew about 1 Kings 10:14, but not Ezra 2:13. That is very interesting.
I know that John uses a Jewish writing style of "First Mention", which is to say any key word links back to its first mention. In the case of Revelation 13:18, that would reference back to Solomon (1 Kings 10:14). I'll have to go back and look at Ezra, as Adonikam seems to tie back to Zerubbabel who was responsible for building the second temple (Sitnah Genesis 26:21).

Jesus said the seed “First Mention” in creation first alludes to Word of God brings reality of concept, but is hidden in creation.
It is all the way to the parable of the sower till the connection is clear. Oh the concept is repeated other times, but is in shadows that hide the reality.

The human thought is it takes money to purchase. 666 being a man thought number.
The God thought is we can receive without our concept of an amount to receive.

The strange way I think is parallel to PaRDeS.
I suppose that is the Pentecostal Jewish sect rejected by some. I do not study their literature, but this one concept just will not go out of my mind. It just fits the “seed is the Word of God”.

Levels of comprehension? First Mention may have to be seen in hindsight. Level of understanding may come much later.

This is still in an exploratory stage, being that this is the furthest I've gone with this particular process with this number.

The problem is trying to squeeze something out of numbers in the Bible like a code. God's written word is not a code book. One person tried to showed a computer generated simulation of all the letters in the Bible, and it resulted in 'Pi'. It's like trying to prove God is true and the Bible is His word by mathematical analysis and computer generated artifacts. The hidden mystery of God in Christ Jesus is the fellowship of His Spirit, not something mystical to delight the intellect. There's no denying the intellectual stimulation of such things, but there's just no fruit in it. It's just a time passing puzzle exercise.

To know meanings of Scripture, all we have to do is refer to the meanings that God plainly gives in Scripture. We don't need to dive any deeper into the number 666, than the fact that it is the number of a man. The simple lesson learned is about the futility of us trusting in worldly possession, power, and wisdom on earth. Solomon has plenty of it all and still fell by too much sex on the brain. All his 666 income became a snare rather than a blessing.

6 is simply the number assigned by God to men, that turn from the Creator to the creature. It's always 1 falling short of 7, and always will be.

Man will never become as promised gods by their own will alone. No matter how many times and ways man tries to achieve success and happiness in this life without God, it will always be just another 6. Like bumping our heads against an iron ceiling, 666... It's an ongoing never-ending always repeated plan and effort of failure ending in the grave.

Without obedience to God's commandment and will, we will always come up short of God and His heavenly fellowship: 7.

Adam showed the futility of having our own will, name, and number. Jesus shows the blessing of having God's, and the simple way to do so: repent, believe the gospel, and do His word, not our own.
