Their mouth speaking great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

Jesus Christ had nowhere to lay His head, the devil has all of this world and gives the glory of it to who he wants to....

Luke 4:6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

The Apostles of the Lord, had no certain dwelling place, the prophets were afflicted, killed, suffered hatred of the people, but the false teachers were honored, believed in, the false Apostles cannot be as the Apostles of the Lord, they do not have no certain dwelling place, they do not suffer the loss of all things for the sake of Christ, they do not suffer the great things of the Apostles of the Lord....

Philippians 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

It is an empty foolish choice to hear one word of those who do nothing of Jesus Christ, nor His Apostles, nor of HIs prophets.

Why was the example of the prophets affliction, the non comfort Christ lived in, the Apostles loosing all for Christ, and all believers also having all in common to sell lands and houses, given so most people avoid it entirely ?

Why is the example of the devil having all the kingdoms of this world to give to his favourites, told so people think they can ignore the proof, immediately, of who is the devil, and who is walking in the other direction ?

How can discussion of Christianity be had, without doing any part of it ?

Was it necessary for Christ and the Apostles, to leave all, for others to believe in Christ ?

Yes, of course it was, so how is it not apparent, that people who never speak of doing the same, are denying this ?

Is it necessary for believers to walk the same path, forsake all they have ? Yes, as there are no other paths showing keeping what you have in this world ( your treasure here) means you would have treasure in heaven also.

Not only people devise threads for strife, but when they also make them up for the sake of talk, and not doing anything we see Jesus Christ and HIs Apostles did, it has nothing to it at all but vanity as foretold.

Matthew 8:20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

1 Corinthians 4:11 Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;

Mark 10:28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.

Luke 12:33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

Acts 4:34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

Hebrews 10:34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

All of the testimony Jesus left us, is to let us know exactly who the false prophets are, and who believes in them. They are well thought of, not hated...

Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

Luke 6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

See again, they speak vanity, no doing of what Jesus did, what the Apostles did, what the prophets did and suffered. ( the proof is told again, they speak vanity for advantage of men. They are doing it right now on the theology forum, but get away with no part of it at all, because it was told 2000 years ago what they are fulfilling right now.)

2 Peter 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

Jude 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

These testimonies are not for nothing, they are never used by the teachers on this forum, but men have becomes lovers of their own selves, they have a form of godliness, as they daily make threads on Christianity, but the power ( of doing what we saw Jesus did) they deny.

The unbelieving profess they believe in God, they deny Christ in works, they don't do any, they speak the great swelling words, as has been foretold, and done in front of the world.

The conscience is defiled, they do not believe that Christ rose again.( 1 Peter 3:21)

( People teach Christianity by talking, debating, strife, contention, dispute, by words, not deeds, if that was what Christ did for them ) as they show they believe in Jesus as a talker, not in works/deeds)

Teachers on the forum show the same belief in how they speak, without the doing of any of it. It is madness, yet that is exactly what was told to happen, perilous times, and yet nobody can see this is the end, when nobody cares any more, in honesty, sincerity...

2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Titus 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Anyone like the path of the poor widow giving away all the living that she had..

Mark 12:41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

Yes, I know nobody on the forum has a heart of doing what Christ and the Apostles did, to leave all to follow Christ.

Why talk daily, and be seen to not do a single thing but talk ?

This parable is not difficult to understand, it is what is in a persons heart and mind, because it is that hearts and minds excuses, why they do not hear the call of Christ.

It is the same method, their lands, their possessions, their marriages, are why they see excuse.

The answer in the parable, is that none of the men bidden, taste of the supper of Christ.

Jesus turned to the multitudes, and told them straightly, if they do not hate the excuses the men before them made, ( the men of Israel) who excused by their father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers, and sisters, and their own life, they also cannot be His disciple. If they do not bear their cross, and come after Christ, they cannot be His disciple.

Any path anyone tries to make to Christ, without entirely loosing all the person cares for in life, is the same as beginning something that you are unable to finish. The rule is the same for all that Jesus spoke to, whosoever there be of them, that did not forsake all they have, they cannot be His disciple.

Luke 14:16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.
25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,
26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

The Pharisees spoke and did nothing at all, why do the Pharisees think they are not revealed by Christ, from since that time 2000 years ago, right up until now.......

Luke 11:46 And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

Matthew 23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.

Matthew 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
