There's an Owl in the room. Maybe that's it.

I'm Genesis. I've been a Christian since 2010. I'm interested in all sorts of Bible study, from Apologetics, to Exegesis, to Eschatology, and on and on. I'm non-denominational. Not a member of any church as yet.

I look forward to meeting you all on the board.

Brightest Blessings,
G.

Hi Genesis Owl, and it’s a pleasure to welcome you into our Christian fellowship. Not being able to discern the gender of owls, I don’t know whether to address you as brother or sister.

You make a comment of not yet belonging to a church, but in fact you do, and it is the total body of Christ regardless of the titles men assign themselves regarding their different doctrines.

Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him (Jesus) to be the head over all things to the church,
Eph 1:23 Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.

I hope you enjoy your time with us, and are blessed as you enter into all manner of discussion on our many different forums. Blessings in Christ Jesus.

That's true. Re: The body of Christ as my church. Thank you for that. And thank you for the welcome.

May God Richly Bless You and Yours,
G.

Hi Genesis,

I like Owls, they are said to be wise :) and they are "birds of prey" which means they're
not pacifists which is a plus. Also they do the "silent flight" thing while hunting which is
fascinating to watch, and also I like to hear them hoot, a sound pleasant to the ear.

I adore owls. They're so pretty. I once saw a great horned flying at night and just above my head. I heard not a thing. My intuition said, look up, and there he was. He glided and then flapped his huge wings and never made a sound as he flew toward the trees on the back part of the lawn.

That is cool.Yep,I hear it at night. The funny thing is if I am driving by and it is up in the trees it can turn its head all the way around as I go by.
