Okay so before I log off for the night I just came back from CB (Christianity Board) and everybody is becoming loco now with all the "don't take the vaccine because it's a trap" stuff. I mean I get why some people are worried about the side effects I do,.. but I'm not going to believe a bunch of heresy nonsense over the internet! Some people I know are waiting to get a vaccine and I would rather watch and wait and see what happens after they get their second dosage than believe something that might or might not be true. I just wanted to hear what all of you thought about this because now they're just making things up with genetic manipulations and stuff with all of this conspiracy stuff. :rolleyes
 
Oh lawd. So, I'm getting the shot today, and my mom is telling me the same stuff. That it's a conspiracy, that it's a plot to make the virus stronger and actually kill a lot of people, that lots of people have died or gotten bad side effects...... and I'm just like...... ok look mom, you used to be in the medical industry, you should know that all medical stuff has side effects and sometimes causes death due to unforseen stuff like allergic reactions......just cause there's some deaths doesn't mean you throw the baby out with the bath water.

I mean. It's understandable if you want to wait before getting the shot, though. That's what I originally planned to do. But then I got an opportunity to go ahead and get it, so I decided, meh, ok. Also, thousands of people have already gotten it and most of them are fine.
 
The decision is ultimately up to you.

To some, the "conspiracy" stuff is all too real and they generally have articles and such to back themselves up. To the other side, it's the same thing.

I suppose when it all boils down to it, no matter what side of the argument you're on, praying to God about it is probably the best we can all do.
 
The way I came to my decision was thinking about it and paying about it. Then remembered we all have an allotted time when we will leave this earth. So whatever is God's will that will happen. Once I decided I stopped worrying about it.
I do not believe it is a conspiracy.
 
Just for the record,.. what I believe to be the conspiracy is when people are saying that this shot is meaning to kill people.
 
They gave me a little paper handout where you can register with v-safe, which checks in on you daily for any side effects via text.
 
My mom is so paranoid about me dying from the COVID shot, she apparently had my brother check on me while I was sleeping this morning just to make sure I was still breathing
 
I apologize guys I've come from a forum where everybody is acting like the sky is falling if somebody wants to take a vaccine and I'm sick and tired of it. :rolleyes

For sure, I'd rather someone overreact and make sure I'm okay then not even bother at all and then something go wrong. Although, I can't blame her mom, especially if she's come across articles like this one:

I remembered your post when I saw this video yesterday. It has some very concerning facts and it makes me want to refuse to participate in an industry that does those things.
