Those Times – By God's Child

What happened?
Where did they go?
They went by so fast
And now they're gone
Come back, please
I miss them
I miss those times
I’m crying now
I am reminded so often of them
Everyday
I wish things had never changed
Will I ever have times like those again?
I hope so
But I am losing hope

Very nice poem! By-gone days, don't they always seem so much nicer in retrospect though, that is, when you look back? When you were actually in those times did you think they were as good as now? I think we give ourselves a lot of pain by making the by-gones look sweeter than they actually were! ;-)
