In 1607 a tidal wave hit the south coast of Britain - on the river Severn. This is a parable. Severn refers to the seven plagues of Revelation; the South Coast of Britain will see another tidal wave on the 1st of April 2007 (exactly 400 years later) as described on http://www.worldends.co.uk.

This is purely false teaching. This web site also denies the inspiration of Paul's letters and his massive contribution to the Holy Scriptures.

http://www.worldends.co.uk./english/archive52.pdf

This from the above link:

"The teachings of Paul are false because they tell us ho to live and they are different from how Jesus teaches us ho to live."

And:

"Paul's false teaching is extremely difficult to identify because

1.He constantly asserts himself as a specially chosen apostle of Christ
2.He continually tells people not to judge and to “accept his foolishness â€Â
3.He goes to great lengths to make himself appear harmless
4.He repeatedly insists that he is not lying
5.He constantly arns against false teaching
6.He uses all the right keywords and phrases things very eloquently
7.He as actually a forerunner in spreading the Gospel! But ho clever of Satan to
put an inside man into the heart of the process.
8.Paul talks about Satan as an enemy
9.Paul claims he imitates Jesus
10.Paul's letters contain end times prophesy,so people look else here (not at him)as
the source of the end, because he is seen as an authority on the subject.
11.His letters are in the Ne Testament itself forming part of the scripture.
12.Paul emphasizes his o n suffering and martyrdom to give his teaching further
credence.
13.Paul is labelled as a Saint
14.He condemns those ho preach a gospel message different from the one that
“they â€Â(he)preaches eg.In Galatians 1:8.
15.He continually denounces the La but subtly introduces a ne one
16.He asserts that he is the least apostle and the least of all people (this is hat Jesus
says you have to be in order to be the greatest.Eg.Ephesians 3:8 “ I am less than
the least of all God's people.â€Â-He is saying that he is greater than Jesus in the
Kingdom of Heaven)
17.All of Paul's greetings at the ends of his letters to many people make him sound
very popular.People gravitate to ards popular people, even if Paul might not
actually have been as popular as he makes out!"

To purposely deny the inspiration that is the Gospels of Paul is emnity with God and should not be tolerated in anyway by this web site forum, period. To deny Paul's letters is to deny half of the New Testament of Jesus Christ, thereby denying the Words of our Heavenly Father.

The website does not deny the words of God (ie. Jesus) - only the words of Paul.

Alasdair, this is as goofy a thing as I have ever heard! Did you never read?

Acts 9
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake

Did you catch that? This is Jesus, the one I hope YOU call Lord, speaking to Paul. What did the Lord Jesus say to Paul? "He is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles"

If Jesus accepted Paul, how silly is it of you to reject him? Since you probably don't know the answer: it is totally goofy to reject Paul! It would be very hard to be more deceived.

This is Paul's gospel "in a nutshell:"

1 Corinthians 15
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Now, what part of Paul's gospel do you not believe?

Did Jesus not die for our sins?
Was Jesus not buried?
Did Jesus not rise again?

Think about it!

You have made this prediction. I will make a prediction....that nothing like this happens!

Now, if you make a prediction that is false, then you do not speak for God or the truth.

Jesus came unto his own (Israel) John 1:12. He came preaching the good news of the kingdom of heaven. "Repent for the kindom of heaven is near." Matt. 3:2, 4:17, 4:23, 9:35, 10:7 etc. Many verses in Mark and Luke say something similar, except using the phrase, "the kingdom of God". This is the kingdom to be on earth, the one the Jews have been longing for for centuries. But, the Nation of Israel rejected Jesus and the offer of the kingdom was withdrawn.

While many principals he preached are true for all times, such as: faith, hope, love, righteousness, a servants heart, etc, he, Jesus was sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matt. 15:24); not to any Gentiles.

It was through his death, burial and resurrection that salvation is now for the whole world.

And, even after Christ's ascension the kingdom was reoffered to Israel, but again it was rejected.

But God wasn't surprised, in fact He had a plan hidden from eonian times, that there would be a new creation consisting of both Jew and Gentiles, who would make up the church/body of Christ (Eph. 2:11-18). And this message of salvation to the Gentile nations was preached by Saul of Tarsus, called Paul; a persercuter of the Way, the Jewish believers, before God through Jesus blinded him on the road to Damascus, and he was converted.

The church/body of Christ is witnessing to the world today concerning God's grace, and our future will be in the heavenlies enjoying all the spiritual blessings God has prepared. We, as heirs of God and joint-heirs of Christ, will witness to the principalities, powers, and authorities (spirit beings) in the heavenlies, the manifold wisdom of God, shown in us through His grace and kindness in Christ Jesus (Eph. chapts. 1-3).

Yes, Paul's ministry is different than Jesus earthly ministry, for through Paul's ministry, the church/body started and will continue to grow until the number is complete (Rom. 11:25-27). And until then a blindness on Israel is come; after which, all Israel will be saved.
