To acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God

What does it mean to acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God (1 John 4:15)?
To acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God is to acknowledge God’s love; because, it is His love for us which enabled Him to send His only begotten son into the world so that through His sacrifice, we (who have been unfaithful to Him and betrayed Him) may have eternal life (John 3:16). To acknowledge is to confirm. Is there any other way to confirm His love other than to show it in our lives (Matthew 5:16)?

Amen brother,

1 John 4:15

To me these words mean in the true sense, and from the heart. This will always prove that a man is a Christian.
Just a thought :)

see wikipidiea

Jesus Christ as God - that is to say God apointed savouir - rescuer from sin and Hell ( sin being Self Instead of Needed Savouir ) - He died for our sin ( wrong thoughts and words and deeds) and was raised for our justification ( right ness with God - God has to do the right thing and He could not with out Jesus death on the cross - for with out the shedding of blood there is no remission for sin

so there for I
have a new God - the living God ( for this is what Jehovah means ) as my land lord to whom I can admit my wrong - he who conseals his sin will not prosper

then we pass on the reciept of eturnal life and my friend Jesus to others - evangelism

I would live for God - expressing recognition of His presence through preyer and Bible reading and wanting to be with and help other Christians and others in general

then I shall give thanks on all ocasions to God

justification is legaly binding - as any thing done as a promise from God is

there for we I accept Jesus for who He says He is because God has not proved a lier in any little thing - so why in this thing - for He who can be trusted with little can be trusted with much - the parable of the talents

I'm sure some theologian could take it far deeper than that, but I like what you have said. :D
