TO... Is he worth the trouble?

I think this guy gives new meaning to the phrase "shock jock". I also think that he receives a lot of endorsements by keeping himself in the news. Randy Moss does the same thing, but I think that TO's behavior is more calculated.

Drafting high character players is a must these days.

T.O. is unbelievable. While the point he brought out about Donovan may be true (about getting tired in the SB), that is something you never take up with a person in the media or in front of anyone else. If he was a man about it, he would have done it face to face with Donovan. That, in my book, is backstabbing. T.O. is a cancer. One of the guys I work with is a big Eagle fan and he's actually already sick of his actions. He'd rather T.O. not play this year. I'm convinced Andy Reid won't budge on his contract either. They may not be quite the same team without him, but they are still a very good (maybe still the NFC's best). If I were Andy Reid I'd get a decent WR to pair up with when FA hits June 1.

Its a shame the players with the ability of Randy Moss and T.O. act the way they do. Neither of them will ever hold a candle to what Jerry Rice has done because they can't grasp the way he did it.

The Patriot's have shown that you don't need superstars, just good team players who know their role.

If I were the Eagles I would suspend T.O. for conduct detrimental to the team and also fine him. I would continue to take money away if possible until he either 'repents' or if the team is limited in what it can do as far as fining & suspending. If the latter is the case, I would just cut him because he has no trade value. I would do my best to keep him off the field anywhere for as little money as possible. He's ran his mouth about so many people..... Jerry Rice, Jeff Garcia, Donovan, and Andy Reid. I've seen and heard enough of him. He should have played basketball, his whole attitude would fit better in the NBA.

T.O. is a funny subject with me, I don't like his off-the-field antics or the backstabbing but I rarely ever pass him up in Fantasy. I've got a lot of respect for what he does on the field. I drafted him in most of my leagues in the second round, a lot of people let him slip a bit just because his stats were down after his broken leg last season. In one league I actually drafted Randy Moss in the 1st and T.O. in the 2nd and still managed to get a quality QB (Bulgar), RB (Westbrook), and TE (Crumpler).

He's back. I can't believe the spin TO's lawyer is putting on his suspension. I think TO is on the fast track to Rodmanville. Everyone would love to have him on their team based on talent, but the gain won't outweigh the cost, or better yet, the negative effect he will have on the team.

He'll only get one year deals from here on out unless he proves that he can not be a cancer. I'd like to see him back on the field this year, if the Cowboys grab him I'm pretty sure we'll see a Colts-Cowboys SB and with T.O. I think Big D can give Manning & Co. a run for their money.

On a side note, I saw T.O. last week on a rerun of Punk'd... . Looks like he's keeping busy in his free time.

I haven't heard anything out of Randy Moss since he got to the Raiders, much like Keyshawn with Bill Parcels in Dallas... it makes you wonder if the problem is with the management of the players.

When TO was with the best team in NFL history that can boast a perfect 5-0 record in the superbowl because they are a dynasty that has had too many NFL greats to name like montana, young, rice, rathman (to name a few), aside from one of the greatest coaches of all time who CREATED the West Coast Offense, Bill Walsh.... you never heard anything out of him, atleast not while steve young was qb. He respected the leadership and the players that were getting the job done. Bottom line, TO is one of the top 5 recievers in the NFL, and someone is always going to be willing pay big money to put up with his egotistical mouth and his amazing catches. Is he worth it? Well, give him his money and the ball and he could win the game for you lol

if the Cowboys grab

Bill Parcels would never let TO on the team. I can imagine the kind of sideline fist fights there would be with those two together. He would never play lol

In a recent press conference, they were apparently trying to get Parcells to comment about their interest in T.O.. Bill refused to comment about it. Parcells won't allow three kinds of players on his team, players that don't perform on the field (too many to name), those he's had problems with in the past (i.e. Antonio Bryant), and players that don't fit his schemes (i.e. like undersized LBs). T.O. doesn't fit any of those. Parcells wants to win now and T.O. can certainly help that cause because he is a great player on the field. Parcells has managed Keyshawn well, who is also known for being a head-case. All that and the fact that Jerry Jones has expressed interest in T.O. too. If the Cowboys can make the cap room, they'd certainly go after him.

Who's Manning?!

Well its official, T.O. is going to Big D. I think he will be a good fit with the team, I'm just a little surprised he got a 3 year deal. But Parcells usually seems to do well with headcase players so I think it should work out for them. I think for the Cowboys this is a great addition since Terry Glenn had a great year last year and T.O. is still one of the best in the game right now. The big question is going to be..... will Bledsoe struggle down the stretch like last season? I considered Dallas one of the better teams in the NFC and definitely the best NFC to not make the playoffs. Their losses were usually close. T.O. may very likely give them enough to make the next level or maybe beyond.

Btw for Cowboy fans and fantasy football managers... I picked up on something that Jerry Jones said in the T.O. press conference. Jones commented on picking up an offensive lineman to help out Julius Jones in the running game. He named Jones exclusively so that pretty much tells you their isn't a RB controversy with Marion Barber. Apparently the job belongs to Julius Jones.

In my fantasy league drafts last year I passed on Julius Jones, Willis McGahee, and Dominick Davis so I could pick Tiki Barber... many people said that was foolish or second guessed my pick. Needless to say I had the last laugh... .

I think that he will be a good fit in Dallas too.

It's kind of slick the way his contract is layed out. The Cowboys are definitely trying to cover their butts. I'm going by memory so the numbers may be off a little, but you get the idea.

2006 5 million base pay, 5 mil roster bonus. total 10 million.

2007 4 million base pay, 3 million roster bonus :-D , total 7 million.

2008 4 million base pay, 3 million roster bonus :-D , total 7 million.
