Of this world I am of two minds. In what I see around me….this world is a powderkeg, and Donald J Trump is the match…..that has already threatened pretty much every other world government (except Israel).....thinking he is the bully with the biggest stick in the playground.
If all that I remember is some kind of delusion; I’d still rather live in my world…..because here God does exist….and this world does make sense…..when God revealed His Plan to me.
But with all things, there is a bottom line….a point to be made….
These Churches have ordained (or anointed) men (or women) to stand as priest, pastors, ministers, etc (preachers for short). These Churches have given these preachers the authority to perform Baptism, perform marriage ceremonies, perform Blessings of the Divine in all manner, to speak in Jesus name, and even to forgive Sin every Sunday (with no extra charge). But God never gave these preachers the Authority to do any of that….God never gave any of these Churches the Authority to do any of that…..men assumed they could do whatever they wanted, and that’d be okay with God…..which is absolutely not true….
None of these Churches teach about God’s Law anymore….none of these Churches teach the importance of obeying God’s Law…..none of these Churches teach any kind of consequence for disobeying God’s Law, because all Sin is magically forgiven because some preacher said so…poof.
Every preacher standing upon this earth is a False Teacher of God’s Law, a false prophet…..when the Heavens Light Up, follow your chosen preacher unto the ends of the earth….and if you survive long enough….maybe one of the other Angel’s who will wake in their own humanity will stumble across you…..and if you are lucky maybe they will give you the opportunity to Renounce your False Teacher….and possibly allow you to return to Father’s Light….
All Christians can believe whatever they want to believe…..and they can twist and turn any verse in that Bible to support their own narrative….but none of these preachers have ever held any Authority Blessed by God to even Teach that Bible….much less to tell Christians they have a “free pass” when it comes to God….
And please feel free to tell God that He must obey a Book written by men…..
In my service to God, discipling men for the past thirty years, it has been my observation that the men I've discipled who were the most critical of the Church and most eager both to abandon it and openly deride it were those men who were projecting their frustration
with their own spiritual defeat and compromise onto the Church, seeing in it reflections of
their own less than holy condition. If they couldn't rid themselves of their own sin, they could at least censure those in whom they saw the same sin (venting a bit of their frustration and shame with themselves at the same time).
If the World is a powder-keg, it is so because humans in general are sinful, rebellious creatures, not because some political figure has gained a powerful office.
Do you actually know what the responsibilities are of Elders/Pastors/Bishops/Shepherds? God has set upon them very specific mandates and authority to use in edification of the Church. They are to teach sound doctrine, defend the Church from "leaven" and false teachers, pray, and enact discipline upon those in the Church who willfully, and openly, and persistently engage in sin, and also settle disputes among those under their spiritual charge (
1 Timothy 3:1-7; 1 Timothy 5:17; Acts 20:28-32; 1 Corinthians 5; Acts 15:1-34; James 5:14; 1 Pete 5:1-4).
Elders aren't supposed to be doing the work of the deacons, nor are they to be custodians of the church building, changing lightbulbs and mowing the grass around the building. By the monetary support of a local church, they are given opportunity to study God's word all day, every day, learning to live in the truths contained in the pages of their Bible, experiencing God in ever-increasing fullness and out of all of this spiritually "feeding" the "flock of God" over which they have spiritual authority in sermons, weekend seminars, Bible studies and private counselling. Elders are frontline protectors of the local communities of believers, leading those communities into ever-deeper experience of God, guarding them against influences that would corrupt the community spiritually, or diminish or hinder such an experience of God.
Are you doing all you can to support these men in the work they're doing for God within the Church? Are you submitting yourself daily to the control of the Holy Spirit so that you, too, may be used of God to the edification of the Church? Or are you just interested in throwing stones at it?
