To the dumb Spammers, I am tired of you people trying to infiltrate, this board, what you don't know is, that only the Admin's and Mod's can see your stupid post, and we do not read them, we delete them and depending on what it is, we ban you. So if you think that your post are being seen by the public, you are wrong, because they are not being seen. You people come here advertising sex toys, male to male sex, female to female sex, Viagra, and all kinds of medications. Well I got news for you, it never makes it to the front of the forum, so you are wasting your time. And another thing, to post such things on a board of God, shows just how evil and mean spirited you are. So you will continue to send your evil garbage, and we will continue to delete your unread garbage, because we don't take the time to read it, we just get rid of it. To our members, spam gets sent here everyday, we have software that does not allow it to be seen by anyone, other than the Admin's and the Mod's, so these people are wasting there time, I and others have to ban people everyday, well I know that I do, because General Talk gets 95% of all of it. And when I am not around the other Mod's and Admin's delete the garbage. So I am just letting our members know what we are dealing with behind the scenes everyday. And to the spammers, we are still standing strong, we are God's people, and we will continue to stand strong.

I Admin on a gaming Forum and I have to do the same thing. So I know how much time and effort you and others have to put into the Forums to keep them clean.

Brian, most likely you are seeing search bots. They gather topic and post data so web searching can be improved.

What Lewis is referring to are spam bots. They dump but can't read. So, the spam bots aren't seeing any of this thread anyway! :D There is another, just as important reason why we monitor the new posts of new members. I can PM you the reason why.

I am at another forum too, and one day the site was overwhelemed by a spam attack. It seems that about seven or eight kids got together, started accounts, and then in unison they started massively posting the foulest things you have ever seen. It was a coordinated attack. I've never seen anything like it.

We used to have those happen every now and then here too, until certain measures were taken to prevent that. :yes
