About a week and a half ago, I bought TOBYMAC's new CD Welcome to Divserse City. It is absolutely brilliant. I think it's one of the best Christian "hip-hop" albums ever to be released.

If you don't have it, I recommend it highly. If you get to listen to it anytime soon, check for these songs: "Burn for You," "Getaway Car," "Atmosphere," "Diverse City" and "Stories." They are all top of the line.

Hope you all get to listen to it soon - you're in for some great music!

I am a new fan of Toby Mac, thanks to the Diverse City!

I saw them last week live when they opened up for Third Day and WOW was I blown away.

I was actually disappointed when their time was up....


Towards the end of Third Day's set they brougt Toby and the Diverse City back out and they played TOGETHER. How awesome it was to see Third Day and Toby Mac perform together. They sang songs like Aerosmith's "walk this way" and "play that funky music white boy"...it was GREAT.

Here's a couple pics from that last set with them all on stage.

Im a new fan of Tobymac too!! I first heard of the band when i got the WOW 2003 cd, their Song, Irene, was kinda cool..so i did a search on them in Windows Media Player, and found their song, Momentum.... LOVED IT! If you know of any other songs that are really good by them...plz lemmy know. Im dying to hear another one.
 
I LOVE tobymac. I've been a fan since I first heard his solo stuff when it came out. His new album is awesome! :D

'Yours' and 'Extreme Days' are quality songs from his first album. I like 'Burn for You' from the new one too.

Catchafire by them is good, I love that song. lol It's kind of funny, if you're in a wacky mood, you'll enjoy it. And "Gone" is good too. :D

Toby Mac's awesome! Burn For You is my favorite. I might see him in August this year at something called, "Soulfest".

Omigosh, y'all don't know how excited I am to find fellow Tobians! LOL go to http://www.tobymac.com/music_videos.aspx to see his new music video 'Gone' ! I went and saw him 2/10/05 at the Winter Jam concert, which was AWESOME, they saved him for last, the best show I have to say! I <3 :angel: TOBIAS KEVIN MICHAEL McKEEHAN :angel: !! God bless you all! My fave songs from him are 'Yours', 'Extreme Days: shoc re:mix', 'Burn for You', 'Catchafire(Whoopsi-Daisy)' , 'The Slam', 'TruDog: The Return' , & 'Getaway Car'.

It's funny, b/c I was just browsing the forums and then I saw the topic TOBYMAC and I read your entries and I go "OMiGosh! I gotta join!" LOL THANKS! :D

So whats the deal with DC Talk, are they all just exploring solo efforts for the time being or are they done for good?

I read on another forum that dcTalk actually never really split up, but just went their own ways for awhile, and plan on getting back together. It's been quite awhile now.

I just ordered two albums by Kevin Max, Imposter and Holy Night. Sanctuary rocks man! Also, ordered Toby Mac's "This Christmas."

I'd sure like to see the dcTalk gang get back together. We have the complete set of dcTalk (I think?). Nine albums in all. Three of Toby Mac's albums (soon to be four) and two of Kevin Max (missing one ?).

dc Talk is one of my favorite bands of all time! We will soon have almost all of the gang's albums. How many is there altogether?

Yeah, Burn For You is awesome! I've added that song to my worship song list. The album "This Christmas," by Toby Mac is awesome too! I never even heard of Toby's Christmas album until a few days ago! We should be receiving it soon.
