Tourny Time!

How 'bout them Cowboys!! :P

I still can't believe Lucas made that shot! I still can't believe they're in the Final Four! Collier I was rooting for 'Bama- it would have been cool to have them playing OSU in the Final. :)

I didn't get to see the Duke-Xavier game. Was it close? The score sure was and I saw a headline that said Xavier 'collapsed' - were they ahead for most of the game?

I may change my avatar to Pistol Pete...

I was just proud they made it that far. UCONN was much better team.
  • I guess of the teams left, I will pull for OSU. I can't stand Duke, UCONN beat Bama (so I don't like them :D ) GT is from the ACC which I rout against and OSU plays the way I wish Bama would play.
So I say, Let's go COWBOYS!

Hey, I did move up to 5,000 in my ESPN bracket. I got all final 4 teams right. I have UCONN beating OSU in the final but as I said in the last post, I am rooting for OSU now. After all, I can't win the ESPN bracket so why root for a team I don't want win even though I picked them? Pride in picking the winner means nothing unless I could win the whole thing.

My ESPN Bracket:

I stink. The winner of my office's pool is a 50-something yr. old woman who obviously does not follow college basketball. That's what happens every year. Next year I'm doing it alphabetically. Whichever team's coach's last name is closest to the letter A...

Percentile: 100%
  • Of course it helps to get all final four and the championship game correct. The kid who won the contest lives about 30 miles from here.
He is an Alabama fan. SMART kid! :D :D :D

Well, in all honesty I wouldn't say so much he's so much smart as he is lucky. :P Respectfully of course. Anything can happen in the tournament and there are always upsets. It definitely takes talent and a little luck to get them all right.

I missed the ESPN bracket, but I did fairly well on one I entered into with some friends. I came in 2nd (I think at this point) and lost by a game. I missed a fair amount, but for the most part I did good save the Alabama and UAB suprises. I had the final four down to 2/4 and lost both games, but I have notoriously bad luck so I was not suprised. I was doing great until the elite 8 came along with a few good upsets.
