I apologize for the length.
About a year ago, my older sister began working for a restaurant in my community. I was happy for her, she would finally be making some money. Little did I know that our lives would be turned upside down the minute she set foot in the place. She met a guy. This may seem like a normal occurrence, however she did not have much experience with relationships. I was happy for her then as well, she was dating. Dating a monster. Shortly after her meeting him, he began to take her to places that were out of her comfort zone. Bars, clubs, his bedroom (if you know what I mean). Suddenly this beautiful girl with Christian values was gone, and a whole new person had emerged. She had a pregnancy scare, and that was when things took a turn for the worst. He began to taunt me. Calling me names and lies about me to my own sister. I'm sure you can determine which side she took. Suddenly water became thicker than blood. This has continued ever since, and she has expressed to me countless times that she wishes to break it off. Every time she tells him this, he threatens to kill himself. My health has began to deteriorate as I cannot get off of this roller coaster. I want her to be happy. I ask that you please pray for my family and offer any guidance that you may have. I know that I will not stop doing so until this ordeal is over, and we will be victorious.
God Bless You All.

Dear Sister Maggie, it is so hard to be on the receiving end of great turmoil in our lives, especially with loved family members involved. Praying for your sister is of utmost importance for her welfare, and the peace you can have when knowing that God is ever faithful to us which love Him.

In Christ we are ever before Him, and when we go to His throne to obtain grace, and help in our time of need, it is being answered even as we ask with results you may not realize until the deliverance you seek for your sister materializes.

Prayerfully your sister knows the love you have for her, and you can do more by not judging her, and being there for her when she comes to her senses just as the prodigal son of Luke 15:11-32 did when he found himself feeding swine. His father was just there waiting for him with a robe, ring, shoes, a hug and a kiss. May God bless this time in your lives to see His salvation, and God will never fail or forsake you in this time of hurt.

I will pray for her, you and your family for healing, and the peace about it that passes understanding in Jesus’ name. God bless you dear sister.

PS - Welcome to our Christian fellowship. :wave2

I touch and agree with you in prayer. Matthew 18:19

Maggie, my family will pray for all of you. May God give you peace in your heart in this situation.

Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
