UberMink's Hello

:couch Yes, but you judged me gay based on font color.

:hugMoving on as if it never happened. God's blessings surround you and yours sister. Love ya.

Well, let's see. I am married to my best friend for many years now. No kids. At least not that I know of. :lol I have been a Christian for many years. David was a Catholic but then became a born again Christian. His family remains Catholic but it isn't a conflict.
We're retired but work little projects we have on the side just to seed businesses we can leave to others one day.
I foster stray cats for a no-kill shelter. We have one dog that at this point thinks he's a cat because there are no foster doggies about. And that's about it I guess.

Hello UberMink
Lovely introduction! We have a bit in common. I have two rescue cats. They are 8 months old now.
Would love to get a dog but I don't think I could give it the exercise it would need.
How many cats have you at the moment?

Four kitties are being fostered here. One is a rambunctious kitten that keep the other young adults on their paws. He jumps them from behind to wrestle and play and they always appear shocked. But they know he's coming because he's noisy when he bounds across the hardwood floor. It's so cute. Kittens at play will keep you laughing.

They are so funny aren't they
Couldn't be without cats. You must get attached to them by the time they are ready to go to their forever home.
I feed the strays that come into my back garden and I get attached to them.

The cat sanctuary I foster for has a very thorough vetting process. And the good people that end up adopting my fosters let me visit them at their forever home. That way it isn't a shock to be removed again from a secure home to a new abode after having been a stray prior. It all works out wonderfully. But I do cry when they leave my house. I love animals.
