Yes
There is a false gospel of grace that is being passed around many Christians, it is one that has been cleverly devised for these last days which is almost impossible to differentiate from the true gospel. Satan has basically invented a false gospel of grace that is every sinner's dream come true. It brings in Satans lie that tells Christians they are free to sin and delve into iniquity to the point where it brings one under the dominion of sin into bondage to Satans.

We see today where there is a class of Christians that likes it that way, who wont let go of their idols and evils addictions, as right becomes wrong across the land and iniquity is the new good. Then you have the others who see evil for what it is, and struggle against evil and temptation as they strive to follow God, who want out from sin and its dominion. The devil has designed this false gospel of grace for the first group that believe Satans lie. This false gospel tells sinners that they are in good and regular standing in their sin, which is what some have always wanted to hear, that Jesus saves us while we keep on sinning. But what does Gods word tell us, we find that in 1 Samuel 13:14, God tells the prophet Samuel that after rejecting Saul as king, that He was going to replace Saul with a man after His own heart. Then God chooses David as that person and he becomes king and leads the nation. But lets look at what happens down the line when David stumbled and sinned with Bathsheba. Here David had committed adultery with Bathsheba and was confronted by Nathan the Prophet for this. But David did even worse as he had tried to cover up his sin by enticing Uriah the Hittite to sleep with his wife to cover up the pregnancy which resulted, so it was a multitude of sine. Look at 2 Samuel 12:1-7 to see as he is confronted by Nathan the Prophet.

2 Samuel 12:1-10
1 And the Lord sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
2 The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds:
3 But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.
4 And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
5 And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the Lord liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:
6 And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.
7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man.

So Nathan said you are the man that did this sin, and what did David do at that point, did he try to make excuses or continue in his sin. See verses 13-14
13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.
14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

David repented and God passed judgement, and it says when the child was born that David besought God for the child and prayed and fasted, but there was a cost for his sin and the child died. So there is always a penalty for sin, even if we repent, the effects show themselves, maybe later or soon afterwards. Remember what Christ said to the man He made whole who had an infirmity thirty eight years.

John 5:14
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

I don't think it is possible to understand God's grace and mercy until we understand our own sinfulness.

This reminds me of Isaiah 6:1-7 NKJV
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to another and said:

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!”
And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.

So I said:

“Woe is me, for I am undone!
Because I am a man of unclean lips,
And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King,
The Lord of hosts.”
Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said:

“Behold, this has touched your lips;
Your iniquity is taken away,
And your sin purged.”

Where do you find this? I've never heard it.

That is why so many Christians will be lost...
