[Blazin Bones]

Have you ever stopped and tried to grasp
A moment in which you could rest
Life makes you tired and worried, perhaps
As you receive yet another test

In moments like these you have little ease
And can’t even think of true peace
You want for the trouble to just go away
Hoping it simply would cease

As time passes by you start to grow weak
The strength you hold is all but gone
But something inside brings you new hope
As your Eyes fix on His Holy Son

The rest that you seek seems suddenly near
As you feel the warmth of His arms
He picks you up, and places you firm
In a place where you’re now safe harm

You see, God is a Father who loves you quite dear
And wishes to free you from pain
He sent Jesus Christ, his only son
And for you, his son was slain

This is not a reason to cry or to moan,
Although Jesus gave up his life
For in his death, we now may obtain
A way to release all our strife

Now Jesus has risen, and given to you
A gift that is proven and true
Place all of your cares and burdens on Him
And see just how much He loves you

That is good! It reminds me of a poem I wrote a couple of years ago. It's so wonderful to know that when things get tough, God is there to pick us up and give us the strength we need to continue. Just wonderful!
