Yup. Used to be "mental patient, ex-junky," now I'm "loser, with a good family behind him."

This, I suppose, is how miracles play out in the real world. Christ has healed me, saved me, set me free. Does that make me Mr.Popular at 29, nearly 30? NO! I am a work-in-progress, and there's seriously a lot of work to be done.

So..."loser." Good enough, lol.

This is who you are really; a disciple of Lord Jesus Christ, a son of God, joint heir with Lord Jesus, the righteousness of God in Christ, a citizen of heaven, the seed of Abraham, a Ambassador of Reconciliation, you walk in divine favor, battles won you do not have to fight, and more than conqueror.

It is important that we watch what we say. The scripture says it like this, "Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, 2 but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father." Galatians 4:1-2 NKJV

Always speak victory when you are ask or when you identify who you are.

You are not a loser by any means. Please do not think of yourself as such. You have endured alot.God has brought you through and He loves you more than you will ever know. You are one tough person. Many do not survive what you have gone through. We are all still a work in progress until we get to heaven.

hey y'all!

Thanks for the replies. I don't consider myself a loser--I'm a work-in-progress, and I've been through a lot. But society, the world...man, they're rough as can be! I was a "mental patient, junky, faggot" when my people were more middle class and distant from me. I'm now a "loser, with people behind him" because...well, that's how my community works, I guess.

Hopefully I won't be living around here forever.

1 Corinthians 1:24-29
Amplified Bible (AMP)
24 But to those who are called, whether Jew or Greek (Gentile), Christ [is] the Power of God and the Wisdom of God.

25 [This is] because the foolish thing [that has its source in] God is wiser than men, and the weak thing [that springs] from God is stronger than men.

26 For [simply] consider your own call, brethren; not many [of you were considered to be] wise according to human estimates and standards, not many influential and powerful, not many of high and noble birth.

27 [No] for God selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is foolish to put the wise to shame, and what the world calls weak to put the strong to shame.

28 And God also selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is lowborn and insignificant and branded and treated with contempt, even the things that are nothing, that He might depose and bring to nothing the things that are,

29 So that no mortal man should [have pretense for glorying and] boast in the presence of God.

If you are talking about the world I would not give them any importance.Because it is.....the world.

yeah...the world...bad place...

...I also think I've been scapegoated here. Men, in particular, projected their issues onto me because I was so low status. Now, I'm not, and I've been healed of a lot of things, and...ugh. People in high places (psychiatrists, in particular) came after me and ruined my rep. I think I may need to move when I can.
