I don't know about you but I'll be playing video games in my 80s... that is, if I don't get arthritis in my fingers from pushing buttons! :biggrin

I don't know what to say. (vis-a-vis the rules in this section, protocol, your feelings, edification, Scripture.... )
(I used to play A LOT.... way way too much-- hours at time, for days and weeks.... I didn't know better ....for a time it was because of being stuck at home due to family illness, other times years before (in college and shortly there-after) was 'addictive' (pacman - original).... sigh... as far as I know then and now, nothing good ever came from it for me; it was just a time waster/filler/distraction. I totally wish now I had rather spent that time with others, in fellowship and in Bible Reading(not study, just simply reading), and singing Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual songs, etc etc ... )

Yes, it is bad when Video Games take over your life.
I am not addicted. I have many hobbies. :)
I hope you don't think video games are bad- at least, the one's I play are not.

Graphics are amazing these days.

I remember pong. Think we had it in the computer when I was a kid.

These days for video games I'm usually playing Minecraft. I actually rather like fighting games, too. Fruit Ninja is also fun, and it's good exercise when playing it on the Kinect. I even have a Star Wars Kinect game with a dance mode. Lol

Games have come a long way since games like Pong and Pole Position.

Pole Position. I thought this game was awesome when it first came out.

Need For Speed-Hot Pursuit. This one gets my heart thumping.

There was a dos computer game that I loved when the internet was new--- Jill Of The Jungle.

DOS games? I remember and used to love Math Blaster. Oregon Trail. Most of the others were Bible-themed.

Oregon Trailer was hard, but fun.

There's a game for (i think NES) called Bible Man

Didn't have personal computers when I was a kid so never played any games at home, but do remember playing pong and Pac Man back in the day at other places. Now I like to play hidden object games in the evening and probably have over 100 of them. No addiction, just enjoyment.

My dad used to play a DOS game all the time called G-Fleet. Still have the old computer he used for it.

Oh, another one was Charlie Brown and the Blanket...or something like that. My mom got it because she loves Peanuts. It was kinda a puzzle game, you had to solve a mystery basically.

My mom used to buy me computer games all the time. I actually had a Sherlock Holmes one. Never finished it, it was hard.

some of them are hard and I go online and look up the walkthroughs when I get stuck

When we finally got a console a few years ago, I began playing Sonic games. lol Some are hard, some are easy. I actually prefer the modern ones over the classic ones.
My brother likes Skylanders. They're okay. I have a few. I like racing games, and have a few. One's Sonic/SEGA themed, and there's a Ben 10 one.

Right now what I'm interested in are anime-related fighting games. Like the Naruto games, and there's one called Persona 4 that I played over at a friend's house and loved. I'm asking my mom if I can have it as a birthday present, but it has pretty frequent swearing, so...I think if I want it I'll have to buy it myself. lol She says she won't fund that stuff. Which is fair.
