Vision Of The Locked Bibles

I was out back talking with the Lord when I saw a vision of him coming on a cloud. He pulled me up and said, “What do you see?” The clouds parted, and I saw many churches with people coming out of them. I noticed that many of the people were obese, and they carried Bibles under their arms. I noticed that the Bibles they carried had locks on them, which gave me the impression that they were not reading them. Then he gave me the verse from 2 Timothy 3:16 AMP which says:

16 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; 17 so that the man of God may be complete and proficient, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Vision Ended

Then I said to the Lord, "Lord, people are not going to listen to me," and he said, "Write it down anyway" (fast food Christianity)

Just noticed your note about "Fast food Christianity" at the end, and that's insightful.

I'm convinced this is about American Christianity. Not only are we still the most obese of the developed nations, but there has been a marked decline in Bible reading in the US over the last several years, and several articles have been published on it.

Gonna create a companion thread to apply this vision, but the following are a couple links substantiating that it is likely about Americans in particular.
