Looks good although id change a couple words for clarity to avert flak from the legalistic crowd.
Intuition to conscience and maybe just drop the whole word yourself off that last line and just leave it end with within.
Otherwise, pretty sound.

Since I don't go to these churches, I don't know what words they are using.
I put this into my own words from what I've read.

These types of programs can go deep and only those involved know for sure all that is involved.

Sounds like some kind of "secret society" or like something the Mormons would do. Maybe the specific words they use could change the meaning a lot but the way you have described it, it sounds kind of self centered rather than God centered. The only time God is mentioned only involves what He can do for us. Biblically speaking, I think it misses the mark by being so self centered.

Oh yeah for sure. No doubt that if intuition = your own mind, and from within yourself = your own heart...well then yes of course there is a huge problem. Apologies, i wasnt looking at it malicious like when it very well could be.

Finding the answers from within yourself could be a dangerous thing to do,......
Intuition can also come from other than a Godly source,......
Images and feelings can be associated with Idols,.......
Thoughts can be influenced by any number of spiritual forces even to the point that Paul encouraged us to take them captive and submit them to Jesus Christ,........

Sounds dangerous Id be care full with that.

Are things really that bad? I mean if what is written here on this forum is in any way a mirror to whats going on in general then the problems we have now are the same ones they had a thousand or more years ago. The dissentions, philosophies, sexual immorality...all still there.

When i read the OP what i saw was someone trying to use modernish language to advertise getting back in touch with God, focusing on Jesus, listening to the Holy Spirit, and generally blocking out the noise from outside. Understood that we have to be guarded. Understood that the enemy knows the word inside and out and far better than i or anyone i will ever meet in my lifetime. Understood that he likes to get his foot in the door by twisting one word at a time here and there.

That being said, all of you south of 49 have my sympathy. As a canadain i understand full well the damage the entire PC thing does to society on the whole, and what is happening to you guys now started happening to us between 25-30 years ago. The whole idea is like a flattery by law(or at least thats where it ends up) and it truly is disgusting and makes spreading the word incredibly hard. You guys are like the last nation out of the "civilized" west for this to happen to. Despite the challenges though are we to judgement stamp everyone trying to reach out that doesnt use a plain john 3:16 line in their advertisement and then say the sky is falling? Just like most everything, for myself, id probably have to walk in and hear what they have to say before passing that sort of judgement. Is it really naive to want to believe that something was set up with good intentions? Not trying to advocate or argue one way or the other, more of a temperance thing.

Because of my personal experience, the church I grew up in has gone so far that way, this thread hit home. As a tuff ol Christian woman of 89 years, my mom, says chew the meat and spit the bones.. I think we agree
