Please say a prayer that I get accepted to volunteer here for a weekend. I think it would be such a life changing experience knowing that I made a childs weekend at camp a happy, special memory. I'm going to send my application off this weekend! I would love to get a cabin counselor position or in the Arts and Crafts building.

What is the mission of the Victory Junction Gang Camp?
The Victory Junction Gang Camp will enrich the lives of children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses by creating camping experiences that are memorable, exciting, fun, empowering, physically safe and medically sound.

What disease groups will you serve?
We will serve children ages 7-15 with the following diseases and conditions: arthritis, asthma, burn survivors, cancer, diabetes, epilepsy, gastrointestinal disease, heart disease, hemophilia, immunology deficiencies/HIV, kidney disease, liver disease, neurological disease, sickle cell disease, skin disease, and spina bifida.

Dear Lord, God, I pray that if it be your will, that you provide Nikki with the oppertunity to minister at this camp. Allow her to be able to share your message there and do you work. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I will be praying for you Nikki.

OH, that sounds wonderful, either job. I remember my first Arts and Crafts camp thingie. It was a sock monkey. I kept it for years. I will be praying hard for you that you get it. Then you can come and tell us all about it. What a joy to be given the chance to help others! You always get back more than you give. :)

I'll be praying for you as well Nikki, Victory Junction Gang is a great project that has helped many children and will in the future. I hope you get in and it works out for you.

Thanks everyone! I sure hope I get this opportunity. I wonder how long it will take for me to hear back from them.
