Was Jesus heterosexual?

Well, since the Bible says that Jesus became sin for us, and He experienced the temptations that we are beset by, I would imagine that meant homosexual temptations as well as temptations to lust after women too. I don't think we can pin the Savior down with our words as to who He was and what He dealt with.

Jesus was God manifest in the flesh and He was not a degenerate pervert.

He instituted marriage and that is between a man and a woman.

Mark 10:6-7 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

Jesus condemned fornication.

Matthew 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

1) illicit sexual intercourse

a) adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, intercourse with animals etc.

b) sexual intercourse with close relatives; Lev. 18

c) sexual intercourse with a divorced man or woman; Mk. 10:11,12

2) metaph. the worship of idols

a) of the defilement of idolatry, as incurred by eating the sacrifices offered to idols

Even the title of this thread turns my stomach... :smt078

If I was to speak my heart to you, BB, I'd be banned from the forum.

I shouldn't have even looked, but I did and now i've got something to say in behalf of my Father.

This is suppose to be a christian forum yet it looks like a smear Jesus' (HOLY) name campaign, and all in the name of "debate"and "discussion".
This type of thing should offend anyone who truly loves God.
Why allow topics like this at the expense of a Holy God? This isn't right at all. :sad

I understand how this might be offensive to some Christians but I think Lyric Dad's answer was very informative, and interestingly enough, might serve to draw gay people to Christ. As LD so perceptively points out, Jesus probably experienced homosexual temptations. Therefore at least a point of connection is established between the gay person and Christ, to counter the flood of judgment and self-righteousness that is so evident in the church on this topic. By simply realizing that Jesus was tempted just as we are tempted, everyone (yes, even one of "those" people) can know that Jesus understands their personal battles.

Greetings Sputnik Boy: We need your voice, so please do not get yourself banned. The reality is that many non-believers are reading and judging - we know this for a fact. Whose voice do we want them to hear?

Sputnik, I don't know what it was about Robert's post that irks you but...

Destiny gets the last word and because I agree with her, the topic is now locked. :-?
